I had a upper bridge put in 2011 and it broke in...
I had a upper bridge put in 2011 and it broke in April 2017 and after having a nice smile for many years then at any moment it can break i decided it was time for something permanent. After much research i went to Eon.clinics. i had my initial appointment my follow up them the scheduled surgery. I was so nervous and tried preparing for what it would be like afterwards and i read so many reviews on how bad and painful it was and i was ready to expect the worse. I ate everything i could the day before preparing to be hungry for a while to come. The day of the surgery 5/22/17 i was so nervous but was ready. I had to have 5 teeth extracted thats all i had left on the top. Everything went well i was there from 1230 to 630pm everyone was so nice to me.
Afterwards i was super numb couldnt feel a thing couldnt talk had to write down what i wanted to say. I thought omg when this anesthesia wears off im going to be in so much pain so as soon as i got home i drank half a ensure drink and popped an antibiotic and a pain pill waiting to feel severe pain at any minute...i can honestly say it's been 7 days an no pain yet! Im so happy and relieved. Ive been consistant with pain meds and antibiotics anf soft foods, cold foods and applesauce. I did end up swelling up after 24 hours a little then after 48 a lot! Its now day 7 and swelling has gone down still have a little bit overall happy i did it and so far no regrets. If you aren't happy with your smile fix it at any cost because its something you're investing in you for once that matters. Soft liquid diet sucks especially when youre family eats good all the time but im.down 5lbs week 1 so its a win win by me!!
