Time to call it a day :)

Hi guys, you will be pleased to know that since my last post I have healed really well. My tattoo is pretty much a distant memory now. I still have slight areas of pink that the lasers were unable to remove fully and have some hypopigmentation which appears to be improving slowly over time. I often forget the tattoo was ever there now to be honest as there are almost no signs of it and other people never notice it either. I think I'm at the point now where I can stop treatments. I just feel content and made my peace with the fact the skin on my wrist will never be completely as it was before the tattoo. I definitely plan to give it s year anyway and see how I feel then. There is a very good chance the small amount of remaining ink will be gone by then anyway. I will continue to post on this site as I am still having the upper arm tattoo removed and am updating that blog still. I hope those of you that have followed my journey on this thread are helped in some way. Never give up. Keep going. You will get there, I promise.

Looking nasty

I am now 4 days post Revlite and the tattoo is looking pretty nasty. I am a little worried as haven't had the whole tattoo treated with Revlite before so not sure if this is normal. It looks like it might end up scarring which is my main concern. The ink in this tattoo was pretty much gone before this treatment so if it does scar like this I will be devastated! Anyone have any experience with Revlite that can maybe put my mind at rest?

Treatment 20!

So I have hit the big 20! To date I have had 5 treatments with the old YAG laser and then a further 15 since I have been treated at Proskin in Bluewater. I had my 20th treatment yesterday and there is minimal ink left now. We treated with the Revlite all over as the technician thinks this will be more effective on the remaining stubborn ink which is mostly pink! Not much longer and this tattoo will be gone for good hopefully :)
