Exactly a week after co2
Face is completely peeled and taking good care of fresh skin. Scars are elevated but I think mostly just swelling, hopefully will see results in 2-3 months as that’s how long it takes to rebuild collagen. Fingers crossed. Will resume with tretinoin .5% 3x per week and vitamin c serum for the am. Will keep this updated.

I have box scars and some rolling scars mostly on cheeks and chin due to acne that I am trying to fix. I have tried fractional co2 3 years ago by the same doctor with minimal results but I am trying again with more consistency. I’m 4 days in and carefully following my doctor’s post laser care instructions - burrows solution / water for the first 3 days followed by post laser cream 3 times / day and I’m also using aloe Vera gel for soothing itchiness. Made changes in my diet and up’d my vitamin c and zinc to hopefully help with healing.
I’m looking into trying the fractional microneedling next (my derm uses microfrax but said it’s the equivalent of INFINI) currently doing my research on it and might try that one after 4 weeks.
On my derm’s post care instruction it says to resume skincare regimen after day 7.
I use salicylic acid pads in the am and tretinoin .5% (retin-a) at night is it safe to resume actives then or wait it off for a bit?
I noticed from my first co2 years ago that after the scabs have completely peeled off, if you looked closely the grid marks were still there and took a while to completely go away, has anyone had the same experience? I’m on the look out this time around if I will experience the same, I am very careful with post laser care so I’m hoping everything goes well. Getting married in 5 months and I’m hoping I get results.
I paid a total of 9,300PHP for my treatment
-Fractional c02 whole face
-Collagen infusion
-Post laser care kit
*I found clinics in Manila and closer to me who offer Fractional c02 for cheaper -7500PHP whole face including slightly below the jaw and chin which is perfect for me-
but I have only found one other clinic with Fractional Microneedling (infini, etc) has anyone tried it and would you recommend?
