WORTH IT$38

The product arrived today and I'm very eager to try it! In the past, I haven't been very particular with my cleansers, however, this product seems to address my exact concerns (i.e. dull, dehydrated, acne-prone skin) and I am hopeful that I'll notice a difference in these areas.

I received this complimentary treatment through the RealSelf Ambassador program.

Update on SkinCeuticals Glycolic Renewal Gel Cleanser

It has been about a month since I began using the SkinCeuticals Glycolic Renewal Gel Cleanser and while it seems to do a good/thorough job at cleansing my skin, I can't say I've noticed a striking difference in its brightening powers while using it. It's worth noting that if you have any active acne issues, it will burn/sting your skin something fierce. If you're like me though, I always felt that was a good indicator of the product working (which may or may not be correct- ha!).
I look forward to seeing the side-by-side results once I've completed the trial. Stay tuned.

Final update on SkinCeuticals Glycolic Renewal Gel Cleanser

A little more than 8 weeks have passed since I began using the SkinCeuticals Glycolic Renewal Gel and I've had to cut back the usage to once a day (instead of the recommended twice a day usage), due to some sensitivity I had in certain areas. With that being said, this cleanser does a lot of things right. It somehow manages to remove all traces of makeup, gets the skin incredibly clean, and more than any other claim, it has made my skin more supple and smooth than before I started using it. I still haven't noticed much in the way of brightening, but it does allow my makeup to apply better when it's used, as it removes a lot of the texture that can occur on skin. I've enjoyed using this product these last couple of months and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a chemical exfoliant.

Do you have any close ups of b&a? I did some of my enlarged pores and whew my new phone/camera made me a bit self conscious. However it made me realize the difference I'm seeing in the mirror is right! I'm about 1 month in on the trial. Thanks for sharing your journey.
