Avoid Like the Plague - Incompetent Surgeon Who Loves Money
I do not even know where to begin with my review of this guy...
I went to doctor Khan to have a medium sized birthmark removed and initially requested it be done via Laser. Dr. Khan pushed me into having it surgically removed and I agreed. He mentioned it would take 2 sessions to remove it and did this by removing the center and stitched the edges back together each time. After the 2nd surgery, I was very happy with the results and there was minimal scarring. Dr. Khan then pushed me to do a 3rd surgery (probably just to get more money) and since the results were great up to this point I said okay. This is where things went south. Dr. Khan was unable to even stitch the skin back together, and the stitches popped out within an hour of the 3rd surgery. When I came back for a checkup Dr. Khan insisted it was because "I was working out" which 1) I was not and 2) they legitimately popped out before I even got back from the car ride home. And he even went on to say things like "you don't have to lie to me I know your working out". He charged me another 300$ to put stitches back in even though he couldn't stitch it back together the first time. And behold the same thing happened and the stitches popped out again within a day.
At this point, I stopped going to Dr. Khan because I had already spent so much money and couldn't afford to spend 600$ every 2 weeks to have this guy accuse me of going to the gym and not even be able to stitch the wound he caused back together.
I eventually went back to Dr. Khan in 2020 with the wound still open since it had not healed in this time, and he insisted we cauterize the wound. Every time I went to him he has a different plan in mind, he always would say we would only cauterize the open wound area, but then he would just cauterize anything and everything around it. I went to him for about ~10 sessions of this with pretty much 0 results besides money out of my pocket and then he tells me he's going to lower the price and acts like he's doing me some favor. Yes, lower the price after you have already taken 5g from me and caused a wound that is open, leaks blood, and is larger than the birthmark I originally came in to have removed.
This guy then proceeds to tell me I need to do a skin graft to get it healed. LMAO what better way for a doctor to scheme money than to create a huge wound on someone and then tell them the only way to fix it is through perhaps the most expensive surgical procedure there is?
Attached below is what $5000 and a dozen sessions with Dr. Khan will get you. Don't have any other words to say then thanks Dr. Khan for making me look like a survived a motorcycle accident! Can I get a refund??
