Worst Experience
I had a deeply unpleasant experience at Reviv that left me concerned about the clinic’s transparency and how patient questions are handled.
I came to Reviv specifically for a peptide vial. Because these peptides are not yet FDA-approved, I chose to purchase through a medical clinic rather than risk buying something online without clear labeling about where the vial was compounded.
Since this is injectable medication, I felt i should be more careful. I had asked the office about the pharmacy, but the answers were unclear. So, the day before my appointment, I called to ask whether I could see the original vial before the medication was prepared in syringes.
When I arrived and met with the doctor, she had not even invited me to sit down before saying, “The front desk told me that you asked to see the label of the vial and wanted to see me preparing it. Is that true?” I politely replied, “Yes, if that’s okay with you.” She immediately said no, turned around, walked out of the office, and said, “I cannot work with you because you don’t trust me.”
I drove 30 minutes on a Saturday for this appointment, and all I had said was, “Yes, and asked her permission.” If she does not want to show me the vail, they should have told me over the phone so I would not have wasted an hour driving there and back.
I was not accusing anyone of doing anything wrong. I was asking reasonable questions about a medication I would be injecting into my body for 30 days. Instead of addressing my concern professionally, the doctor dismissed me without any meaningful discussion or opportunity to communicate. Her response felt rude, cold, and inappropriate for a medical setting. It was the first time I have ever felt unwelcome for asking questions about my own care in front of a doctor.
For anyone considering treatment here, this is something worth knowing. Based on my experience, I felt that my questions and concerns were not handled professionally or respectfully. Unfortunately, this was my experience, and I hope others receive clearer communication and more respectful treatment.
