After 4 weeks my "turkey neck" right under my chin is disappearing, almost gone. I can see my jawlines coming back on each side, with definite tightening in the jowls! I will cont to post each month. So far, positive results are happening! Three friends this past weekend wanted to know what I had "done" to look younger. Change is definitely noticeable.

It's genetic. You could go to the best and get screwed. It's great for melting fat. Face lipo
My bestie did it and nothing. I did Thermage and lost all my fat. The machine is supposed to be fool proof. I think it takes a few days to get certified . It's very very unpredictable. Also you won't know until 6 mos out. I,think you are going to look,FAB cuz ypu did it on lower face and to melt fat.

I will add pics, next week. It will be one month after treatment and I hope they will be much better quaility. Yes, I am seeing results - but I am so critical that it will take side by side pics after 3 months post treatments for an affirmative answer. But I got a positive comment yesterday by a friend that did not know I had the treatment, she asked if I had been using the new firming products - that sounded good to me!

I have read several reviews regarding the difficulty and painful treatment process of an Ultherapy session. My experience yesterday was completely different. I am 60 years old and have been noticing the need for skin tightening along my jaw line and under my chin area. After much research I decided Ultherapy was the best treatment for my lower face and chin. I also researched the most experienced Specialist of Ultherapy in my area. I wanted someone who had achieved consistent positive results. After these decisions were made, my appointment time was scheduled for June 22, 2015 - yesterday.
I have used Real Self to assist me in setting realistic expectations, along with choosing treatment options. However, after reading some of the reviews of the "painful" treatment process of Ultherapy, I was extremely nervous prior to my appointment. Lisa Adams, RN, BSN, at SKIN Raleigh provided me with an extensive consultation and addressed all my questions.........yet, those "pesty" negative Real Self reviews, kept me worried and stressed. Well, those reviews are WHY I have decided to chronicle my Ultherapy journey.
First, the treatment pain was NOTHING as described in some of the reviews. I took a percocet and a xanax prior to starting and I remained calm and without pain, just some discomfort during the initial lines of treatment. In fact, 4 transfucers (sp?) were used - the most possible! Lisa was always encouraging throughout the process, with explanations throughout each step. Her obvious professionalism and knowlege, created the perfect environment for a high anxiety client. Please understand, it is the Ultherapy Specialist thats makes for a successful treatment session and outcome!
After the session I experienced slight swelling, that my husband and friends have not even noticed and the "redness" had disappeared by the time I reached my home. There was a bit of tenderness when I applied makeup this morning, but NOTHING more! Remember, I had this treatment yesterday. It all comes down to making sure you CHOOSE an experienced Ultherapy Specialist with proven successful results.
I will have pictures to share as the weeks past, and I'm optimistic for good results! Again, Lisa used all 4 levels in order to hopefully achieve our goals. Another positive about Lisa, after discussion and sharing of advice, my goals became her goals. Remember friends, a positive treatment experience and good results will always depend on choosing the most experienced and skilled Specialist!
I'll keep you updated with before/after photos.

Have to agree with choosing someone who knows what they're doing. One layer off and your facial fat is destroyed - not deep enough and no results at all - either way *thousands* of dollars down the toilet. At least it's educating people of the fraud in the health care system - beware of doctors.

Just do your research, check credentials, looks at the Specialist's before and after photos, not the treatment company's pics, and search for a honest professional that practices in a certified environment. After this, we make our own choices and must live with our decisions. I feel I made a very good one.......only time will tell !

God willing! Fingers crossed. My friend went to someone who has been doing it a while and nothing. I think it's a collagen /genetic factor that is strong let us know

As a former special care unit nurse I couldn't agree more that the person you choose to perform a treatment or procedure is a critical decision.

Thank you for an honest and current review! I am scheduled for the same treatment areas next week and will also give my opinion....hope it is as positive as yours. I am realistic about laser treatments as I have had other procedures previously. Nothing is pain free that is going to give you a long term result. I agree finding the most knowledgeable and experienced technician is key as well as being prepared yourself with research on the procedure.

Not quite a month since treatment, and I am seeing a difference. However, I do understand that it takes between 3 -6 months for final results. I will not judge the treatment until this time frame. Just take the meds at the appropriate time ( that is a must ) - best wishes!! PS: the xanax really helped me, I was sooo nervous before the treatment.

After my consult I decided to just do under my chin area with Ultherapy and then have a Sculptra injections in my mid face. I am more nervous about the Sculptra than any pain from the Ultherapy. I will post after my treatment on Wednesday. Thanks for the support!

You will do great........I had two people ask me about what I might have done, one friend thought it was my lips - nope nothing in the lips. I'm looking forward to what 3 months looks like. Also saw a before and after done by another MedSpa, BodyLase in Raleigh- it works, if done by the right people!

Had my ultherapy and Sculptra today! I was pleasantly surprised that it was very tolerable. I just had my middle neck done up to my jawline. It really only got uncomfortable when she hit a nerve near the jaw. I was numbed for one hour and took one pain pill for good measure. Was very relaxed and had no issues. The Sculptra procedure was painless, however I am a little sore this evening. Mostly around the temples. My jaw is tender and a little stiff which I believe is from the ultherapy. All in all, I am very pleased with both procedures and feel confident I will see good results in the weeks and months to come. My neck definitely feels and looks more taught already.

Congrats!! I'll post a one month photo very soon. I am seeing some results now, looking forward to the 3 month results period.

I want to mention that I am also scheduled to have a Halo laser treatment in mid August. This will address my pigmentation issues, pore size and overall texture on my whole face. I am very excited about this and will post my experience as it unfolds.
