These pictures were taken 2 months post op. Happy with the outcome for the most part.... apart from not having a belly button. And also I wish he was willing to do more lipo to my back rolls.
For now I will continue to exercise in hopes of losing weight although my hypothyroidism does not make it easy at all.
I do plan to have another procedure done in the future.
Y'all feel free to ask any questions!

How you dont have a belly button?
I was not given a new one because of the risk of tissue death. I was told I can have one put in place after 6 months.
If you don't mind, what was your BMI before surgery?
there are some drs that are not afraid of helping plus size women achieve fantastic results...i had one of them and will forever be grateful....he was aggressive in my surgery and i have had fantastic results...i have seen other plus size girls that have not had great results....my surgeon did a complete mommy make over on me in one surgery and my BMI 36 i had one area that had delayed healing....he removed over 10lbs of skin and 16lbs of fat through high volume liposuction....my life has forever been changed and i couldn't be happier
My BMI was 39. My doctor had no issue with my BMI. He just made sure I was healthy enough to have surgery.
where is your weight at now? did the tummy tuck provide weight actual weight loss?
No, the tummy tuck did not provide any real weight loss. I didn't expect it to either as I have hypothyroidism and it isn't easy for me to take off weight. All of my pants fit still, I just look better in clothing now.
I am glad everything went well! I know most surgeons don’t do procedures if the BMI is over 30. It took me two years to lose weight to lower my BMI to be able to have my surgery. I got Lipo, tummy tuck and BBL! You look great! As you said, you gotta lose some more weight and then have another procedure to get your belly button! If you are interested in learning how I lost 30 lbs to prepare for my surgery check out my blog mybodybydesign.com/blog I have some tips there! You look great and good luck on your next procedure!

Surgery is all done!

Hey everyone,
I had my surgery today. It all went well. Im sore but moving around very well. My surgeon told me that he removed 14lbs. 10lbs of excess skin and 4lbs from lipo of love handles. Before surgery he told me I wouldn't have a belly button when I woke up. I havent seen under my binder yet, but I'm assuming he wasnt lying.
Im gonna rest up and set a routine of walk around the house to help with circulation.

I hope your recovery is going well. Do you know why the surgeon said you wouldn’t have a belly button? I thought they created new ones during surgery?
Thank you, I am holding up well :). He said he was concerned about the density of my fat in that area, and if he gave me a new belly button, it along with the skin between my incision and new belly button have a high risk of dying. So I dont have one as of now, but he said he could make me a new one down the road.
Good luck in your recovery! I’m just trying to not overdo it! Wishing you the best!
Thanks, same to you hun. I cant help but move around the house trying to do things I really should just leave alone.
That is awesome, you look great I saw you were around 250lbs but how tall are you? What was your bmi when you had your surgery? Hope you doing well!
Thanks hun! Im doing well and have healed great. My BMI was 39, 5'7", and 250lbs.

My emotions are up and down. I think about the surgery in my sleep.
I really want this stomach gone, but I cant believe this is even happening at all. Its not yet real in my mind.

You're almost there. I had my surgery already and have not posted any pics yet. I will soon though. So far I'm happy I did it. I'm still ver uncomfortable, but it was all worth it. Good luck to you

Thank you! Im very happy with my surgery.

Where and who will you be having your surgery with? Will you be getting a tummy tuck? Can you tell me more about yourself, I love reading and knowing more about plus size surgeries of all kinds. Feel free so send a DM.
Hi! I can't figure out how to DM you so I'll reply here! I'm having my surgery in October 2021 with Dr. LaBarbera in Scottsdale, AZ. He has done many plus size tummy tucks and monsplastys and is also okay with my BMI. I'm 5'9, 265, BMI is 39. I've been up and down the scale and have loose lower belly skin and looking forward to the surgery. My only concern is that I've got a spare tire situation and my upper abdomen that I'm not he will lipo. I'm worried about looking pregnant after the swelling heals!
I am having this issue right now. My upper abdomen seems to look full now that I've gained weight through the pandemic lockdown. Initially I didn't have that fullness.
My surgeon did not lipo there...he said the blood supply came from there. Very understandable! So now I'm working on loosing the extra weight to be able to go back and get the lipo that I want.
Good luck with your surgery, it is so life changing!

P.s. Express your concerns to with your surgeon so he/she can get the full picture of what you want to achieve and if more than 1 surgery is needed.
