Plus Size Mommy Makeover 10 Years in the Making

Everything went great! I managed a tiring shower before my 5dpo appt and was rewarded with having all of my drains removed. There was minimal fluid collection the last few days so I figured they would come out and the process was fine. My Dr. said my belly button was looking great (ahead of schedule) and to continue to take it easy. I’m very swollen but it’s to be expected. My pain is completely manageable and the drains were really my only nuisance.

It’s about 1am and I left the hospital after 9. My surgery was scheduled for 8.5 hours and went over to 10 hours! Thank God I had no issues! I was on the fence about a fat transfer to my behind but decided to proceed with it. I’m anal and I’m the medical field so the questions I had were insane- needless to say I felt confident. Although laying down is the hardest thing ever glad it’s over

I loved my Dr. and my mother couldn’t stop raving about him. Dr. Husni even have her a referral for her carpel tunnel surgery while I was in recovery. He truly cares, most important s competent and I’m so happy I chose him.

Over the next few days we shall see how I feel. My mother actually left while I was sleep to get her things and of course I had to use the restroom. It took me 20 minutes to get there but I made it without incident

Let’s hope I look nothing like this In a few weeks. I believe in my surgeon and God to guide me through this process.
