Comparison day 1, 7, 22

3 weeks post How much longer with pain and numbness?

So I'm still having quite a bit of pain and need to take ibuprofen every 4-6 hours to help with it. I was worried about a long recovery but I knew this is how it would be if I went over the muscle. I strongly wanted to go under the muscle as I am pretty active and I have strong chest muscles and knew the recovery would be rough but I just didn't have enough breast tissue to cover a 400cc implant.

The right still looks like it is dropping faster than the left but left is catching up. My right has always been a tad smaller and I'm ok with that so I didn't have different sizes put in and the doc never recommended different sizes so hopefully they end up evening out over time as far as dropping.

I was cleared to work out after one week of surgery but have mostly been walking. I have worked on stretching over my head and this week started playing in my regular volleyball league. My right side has a tighter stitch so hitting was a stretch and felt a bit awkward to use my arm, upper back, and chest to hit right handed. Even playing vb I'm taking it easy.

Tell me this pain gets better. For the first time this week I felt they these were really not apart of me. I'm so happy I did this and very happy with the size, but I will like when they are softer and not painful all the time.

Day 10 lots of throbbing pain

My right is really starting to drop faster than the left. My left has more numbness and throbbing pains. Trying to be patient during this dropping phase because they sure do start to look funny.

I was very impressed with the staff and Doctor Murphy. They knew what I wanted and gave me the information I needed to make the decisions that fit me and my lifestyle. Going into this I didn't know all the parts and decisions that were necessary so Dr. Murphy went through everything on her own in order to fill in the gaps so I could make the decisions that fit my goals.
