How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

I consulted with several doctors and even though I wasn't keen on Martin's bedside manners, I (foolishly) went with him on the basis of some high profile "celebrity" reviews which seemed positive. I foolishly believed then, that his cold, slightly rushed attitude meant that he was a very popular doctor.
In hindsight, and now I'm older and wiser, I should have questioned why a doctor needs to market himself through freebie televised procedures. And also, can I be comfortable that a standoffish doctor really cares enough to do the best for his patients?
Back then there was also less information readily available on the Internet and I had no idea about tip grafts, so I didn't ask Martin about it specifically.
I wanted a higher bridge and a narrower slimmer nose. So Martin Huang recommended an implant + alar reduction.
Immediately after the procedure, I complained that the tip made me look piggy and exposed my nostrils.
For a couple of years, he denied that there was anything wrong with it, and said it was just the natural shape of my nose. Until I went to another surgeon for a consultation that the surgeon pointed out the problem - too short a nose, lacking a tip graft.
When I asked Martin about what the other surgeon said, he said that his "professional opinion" was that I didn't need any tip graft.
I suspect the lack of tip graft combined with the alar reduction resulted in a pinched upturned nose. He blames it on unforeseen scar formation.
Overall - is it better than my original nose? Yes, but it's far from perfect.
Would I go back to him again? No.
Disclaimer: the above is solely my personal opinion based on my personal experience which I am sharing for general education regarding the procedure I underwent.
