INIFINI RF is only good for very very mild acne scar. And it is very expensive. So if you have severe scarring and also do not wish to waste money, please go for other treatment.

Infini doesnt work for me

Went to the doctor today to finish my package of 2 infini rf and 3 fractional co2 laser. Chatted to the doctor about alternatives like tca cross or subscision and the doctor discouraged me. He kept saying all i need are multiple treatment of the same laser. I was shown the before and after pictures and he struggled to find improvements. I was convinced that infini rf alone does not help for my scarring. And that this doctor does not venture out of his comfort zone. The treatment was costly and i was disappointed by the lack of results.

You should definately seek tca cross treatment from board certified dermatologies. It will definitely help you alot with deep depressed ice pick scars. :)

You scars are tethered, untether them with subcision. And use fillers. Lasers only work on young scars

I dont see much improving and there are faint streaks of line from the infini which did not disappear. The problem is the doctor kept pushing laser treatment and not specific treatment for specific scars. Hope you guys can advise me on the way ahead.

Most Doctors in Singapore I've seen are like that. Just push laser and don't tailor specific treatment. They just let the patients choose what they like without giving much advice. Maybe cos the situation is hopeless and they didn't want to turn money away,

I did read that minimally 3 to 5 sessions are needed so one session won't help. Btw, Tiffany clinic is 850 per session, cheaper than the usd1700 you paid. They also have discounts for package. I went for one session with not much results like you, but I'd likely need more. It's just that another doctor who did fat grafting for my acne scars told me not to do infini as it may affect the fat take of the fat injected into my face.

Darn I have a treatment I have already paid for but I am worried about fat loss :( I already have it young because of dysport injections that went wrong.

I had several treatments to target specific types of acne scars. For ice pick, I had one session of TCA cross - it’s the best treatment for ice pick scars and i saw significant improvement in mine after just 1 session. For tethered/anchored scars - i had 2 sessions of subsicion which helped to loosen the scar tissue. Then I had several laser treatments - fraxel, C02, Erbium - but i must say the lasers are the least effective in treating acne scars. However, they did improve my skin texture and stopped my hormonal acne.
Now I’m on to infini and i just had my 3rd session. I noticed improvement in my scars after the 2nd treatment and I am happy with the result overall. My rolling scars are mostly gone but the tethered ones remain. My doctor starts the session with 3.5mm to target the acne scars on my cheeks, then moves to 2.5mm and then to 1mm all over my face. All in all, she makes about 3 to 4 passes per session and varies the needle length.
In my opinion, laser treatments are only effective on superficial and rolling scars. It might be better for you to do subsicion and infini but make sure that needle setting is appropriate.

I just finished my 3rd infini treatment yesterday, so ill have to wait and see. But after the 1st and 2nd I noticed a difference with my acne scars, mostly on my cheeks. Ive had my scars treated over the last 4 months, starting with subcision and then infini rf. Im happy with the results so far, but I would say you might want to get a second opinion on what kind of treatment you need specific to your type of scars before you go spend more of your hard earned money.
