I have suffered from the obsessive compuslive disorder, trichotillomania, since I was 11 years old. (pulling out eyelashes and brows) I am now 20 and have managed to control my symptoms for almost 2 years now. My lashes have been noticeably damaged from all the years of follicle trauma from the constant pulling and I am starting Latisse to see if it can help with the appearance of my VERY sparse, thin lashes. I have read about the cons (sunken look in eyes, brown discoloration) but the pros seem to outweigh those for me. Hopefully others who suffer from trich can find some encouragement from my story even if i don't get positive results, fingers crossed!

Good luck, I will be starting this as well. I had eyelash extensions that did horrible damage to my lashes, time to start the repair process.

Thank you for sharing. I also suffer from trichotillomania and am considering using Latisse. My symptoms aren't quite under control. I only really told anyone about it this year. I am no longer embarrassed about it. Please keep updating!

It's brave to share about about something like trichotillomania and I wish all of you who suffer from this lots of luck. I've had great results with Latisse. Rapidlash serum also worked in a slightly different way. Latisse really grew my lashes almost in a hair-like way. Rapidlash seemed to thicken and lengthen my lashes but they didn't grow as long as with Latisse. Also, I have blue eyes and Latisse didn't darken my eye color. Both products reddened my eyes. It might be good to use a lubricating, preservative-free eye drop when using these lash-lengthening products.

I have been getting eyelash extentions for the last year and find myself ripping them out to only be left with stubble for weeks until they grow back. I have delt with pulling out hair on my head for almost 20 years now, but never my eyelashes until I started getting eyelash extentions. I think trying latisse may help me stop this new problem. I don't recommend eyelash Extentions to anyone who is dealing with trichotillomania. Latisse might be the best option or at least with a try.

amazing results!

I would definitely recommend this to anyone especially those who are suffering from trichitilimania. There is only a few cons for me one being that my eyes look sunken in and dark so I have to apply makeup or else I look sick or tired, but I will still continue to use this product cuz I just love the results so much. I will post more pictures after I finish the second bottle so anyone interested could see the full effects.
