Hello RealSelf Followers,

Two days until surgery and I think I’ve read every post about Tumescent lipo on here twice, totally obsessed. So far, I’ve picked up antibiotics, kids absorbent self adhesive pads, gauze, a recliner, side table, easy prep meals, and comfy clothes. The office staff measured me for my compression garnet that has been order and will be there at the office to follow my procedure. They are saying ex strength tylenol is all I’ll need for pain management. I’m excited, but not looking forward to the months of inconvenience and discomfort. Wish me luck and stay tuned.

Oh Boy, I did it! Got to the office at 8am where I was asked general health questions, weighed, blood pressure and pregnancy test taken. Next before photos taken, then I was marked up in blue ink and those photos were taken. I was give some calming meds that made me relaxed and sleepy. They took me into the operation room and started the tumescent fluid process. They gave me up to around 20 shots where the adits or puncture holes were place, those shots sting, ouch!!!! Quickly after the punctures are done and you don’t feel those at all. Then they begin to fill th subject area with fluid, it took about an hour and was a trip to be blown up that big, it felt like weights being set your your stomach and sides. They let the fat soak up the solution for about an hour. Now it’s time for the lipo. It feels like a vibrating probe, no pain. If it gets close to the muscle or a bone it’s very tender and slightly painful, but other than that painless. They clean you up, wrap absorbent pads around you, put you compression garment on, wrap that with a super tight compression band that’s actually really uncomfortable as I’m speaking laid back in my recliner. It’s annoying me because the fluid filled tummy and sides are hanging below it. I am leaking fluid but lightly, mostly in the back area. I don’t feel a lot of pain when I’m laying, but if I get up, dang!!!! It hurts, I need to just chill and get some rest, tomorrow is my follow up at 8am. I hope it goes well.

Omg! I saw myself for the first time after being bound so tightly to help remove the tumescent fluid which leaked into my clothes and onto the bed absorbants, it also filled my front and back layer under my garnet. Wow! My waist is tiny. Check out the pics. Hardly any pain, very tender to touch, only taken Ex strength Tylenol and the antibiotics twice a day. Took a shower now I’m lightly bound with my absorbing pads, though I’m hardly leaking fluid at this point. Doctor says it looks great, I shouldn’t swell much more, fluid still there and it will take time to fully heal.
