WORTH IT
I’m am now at 199.3, my balloon will come out January 28th. The goal is to be between 165-170, my goal weight, by then. This is NOT a magic pill. You really have to put in work every single day. I have taken up doing cardio a minimum of 4 days a week. I could lose more weight by doing a drastic diet along with the balloon by opt to eat what I like in moderation and take my time losing weight.

Feeling better but not 100%. I’m no longer vomiting and am sleeeping through the night, but I just can’t seem to walk or stand for long periods of time without feeling dizzy. Also, I can’t stand much of anything sweet, like applesauce, popsicles, jello, and pudding. I’m going to force myself to a protein smoothie shortly, and then try and take another nap. I’m down 6 pounds BTW.

I’m doing very well thank you! This balloon does help, but you also have to put in the work. I’ve been changing how I eat and I’ve been working out. I now weigh 204

All I can say is do your research! Figure out what you think would be the best things for you. It’s not a magic pill I can certainly say that. I’ve lost over 20 pounds, but I work out and have been making better food choices.

I am reading everyone else's journeys to make an informed decision, and I am nervous about the beginning queasiness. When I read another girl's journey, she didn't lose as much as she had hoped, but man... I kept thinking she was jamming just the same! It seems this will be just the right tool I need because I have already gone through my dietician and lost 80 lbs and again, 40 lbs all when I was younger, but now losing this weight is really going to take more self control than I can muster... Keep posting, sis. I will be here to offer support, but won't begin my journey until school's out in the summer. I soooo need this prodedure!

Thank you so much for the encouragement! I’m not losing super fast but that’s intentionally. I opted to change my lifestyle completely rather than going to the extreme and doing things that aren’t sustainable. Through this procedure I am now under 200 pounds and have lost a total of 27 pounds. I workout at least 3-5 days a week and I still have what I like in moderation. Everyone’s journey will be different. They give you medicine for the queasiness, so if that’s the only deterrent I recommend you proceed! All the best to you doll!!

I don’t feel any pain, but I definitely have a little discomfort associated with not finding a good position to sleep as well as queasiness. My doctor has prescribed me a number of medications so I’m sure in time it will get better. I have thrown up twice today, I don’t think I’ll be able to hold much in for the next couple of days.

How are your symptoms now and how much have you lost already?

They’re better but not 100%, I’m down to 211.9 from 220.1, so 8.2 pounds. Once I can start working out I’m sure I’ll drop even more because I really have no appetite.
