MRI results.

So I just got my MRI. There’s still is multiple granulomas in my buttock and plus a also have a small hematoma smh!. Now I’m just was waiting for my surgery date which hopefully is soon.

2nd surgery (biopolimeros removal)

It's been three years since my first surgery in Colombia. I won't mentioned the doctor's name in here( if you need to know his name please message me). So, after the surgery I was fine, I was happy thinking that I didn't have to worry anymore. The surgeon told me to come back for the reconstruction. So I came back to the states and I waited a year. After a year a had other issues that I had to resolve, so I didn't go back. Last year (2020), I started to feel sick, with leg pain. So they did an MRI of my leg and they found that I still have some of that substance in my muscles. In 1/2021 I started with really bad pain in my legs and burning in my legs. So they send me for an MRI of my lower back. They stated that I had herniated disc. I did physical therapy, until like three weeks ago, the gluteal region was on fire! I couldn't lay down, sit and now I'm limping. Doctors in here (NY) kept telling me it's because of my disc, but when I showed them the MRI they said " well we don't know what kind of injections are those". This week I went to the ER because I was getting to the point that I couldn't go up the stairs anymore. The resident in the ER told me it's because my disc and I kept telling it can't be because my back doesn't hurt, the pain was just my right gluteal where the surgeon made the removal. So long story short, his boss came and he said you are right! The pain's not from your discs, it's from your gluteal muscles. So the next day I went to see a physiatrist. I explained to him that I had those injections done and plus the surgery and he said probably that substance is still in your muscles and the muscles are getting weak. So he sent me for an MRI of the gluteal area. I'm just waiting for the results now. Now I'm considering going to Colombia again, but with another surgeon. When I first went for the removal I was concerned about the disfigurement and the scar because I didn't know better, but now I'm researching for a surgeon who has more experience and someone who can be removed from the muscles. Someone who posts videos about their surgeries and the removal from the muscles as well. Right about now I don't care about the scar. What I cared about now it's about my life and be here for my boys and be pain-free. It's been a few months that I've been having these symptoms and my life is not the same anymore and I can't live like this. When I had the first surgery I did have mild symptoms, but now the symptoms triple. Ladies make your research first before making a quick decision, especially if you have substance in the muscles. Some surgeons are great at removing, but some can't go deep or go in the muscle at all.
