Nice Staff but No Benefit

The staff and Dr. Emer were very nice and friendly. He injected a steroid in the left side of the nose where silikon 1000 had been injected by another doctor previously. It lasted a week or 2 and came back to the pre-procedure cartilage. So there was no overall benefit for the procedure.

we are sorry that you are unhappy with your results. as we discussed in consultation, silicone is a permanent filler that has no cures unfortunately. AND when we do steroid and/or 5fu injections we do this in a series of 2-4 treatments spaced 3-6 weeks apart. if you only did one treatment you wouldn't have completed the full treatment protocol to see if you could get improvement. ultimately you may need surgical removal which was also discussed with you. if you want to keep trying with more treatments, by all means please come back in and lets continue with the treatment plan. if you want surgical removal we can refer you to a number of great physicians! let us know. Could you you send me information of those Physicians who surgical remove silicone injections
