Dr. Nair changed my life, he gave me back my health and something very important that I had lost, trust in the health professionals and in human beings. Dr. Nair knew this was a tough and Pro-Bono case since the beginning and he took it.
I have been suffering a lot because I was injected 20 yrs ago in Miami with a substance that was supposed to be beneficial for my legs, expansive cells (they said) that if I wanted to combine them with exercises it would tone my legs very nice, I started suffering from pain, I couldn’t even get dressed without feeling pain, after looking for them and finding out that the clinic no longer existed, I dedicated myself to visiting Doctors, I went to many places, no one even wanted to touch me, in one of my searches I found a Dr. who in several interviews claimed to be the only one in Miami able to remove Biopolimers with a Liposucción. I felt very happy with many hopes, Dr. Rafael Antun took me to a Lipo without even checking my blood, I had 7.0 Hemoglobin at that time, I found that all of that after getting complicated in his surgery room with mrsa, that led me to be hospitalized for weeks, to have a Mid-line procedure and three months under Vancomycin antibiotic at home, after the Vancomycin with bladder pain, swelling of the arms, face and feet, painful urination and nauseas for a long period of time, and started noticing that I had the same amount of Biopolymers I had before Lipo but now with a horrible scar in my left leg and feeling worse symptoms. I started to document myself and many Dr’s told me that a Lipo was not a solution to extract Biopolymers, that on the contrary a Lipo could have spread that material throughout my body.
I met Dr. Nair after having lost hope, I know I injected myself years a go for vanity but I wouldn’t have done it if someone had told me the truth and I wouldn’t have done the Lipo If Dr. Antun had told me that it wasn’t going to help me.
I want to thank Dr. Nair for his honesty and Humanity for not playing with my life and for his support since day one, you did everything you could to help me Dr. when no one wanted to, when Dr. Antun offered to solve my problem with a Liposuction knowing that Lipo is not the appropriate solution to remove Biopolymers, also knowing that this could also put my life in danger, he scammed me like the rest. I thank you with all my heart for your help, your support, honesty and professional commitment but the most beautiful thing, your humanity, your dedication to my case even knowing that it was going to be without monetary remuneration (a pro-bono case) something that also changes my life and my perception towards humanity.
