Finally getting my removal and reconstruction ! I’m so nervous but excited

I’ve been home for a little over a week now, I got my surgery on October 5th and I stayed in Columbia at a recovery hotel for 20 days before I went back home. I immediately felt better after surgery, no tingling in my legs and no sharp pains. Dr Gómez did an amazing job on my removal and reconstruction and you can barely see my incisions. I will be posting before and after pics and updates soon !

I can’t believe my surgery date has arrived ! I’ve been having more pain and discomfort in my legs and butt so I’m so ready to get this over with ! In staying in a recovery home the first week or so then I will be staying in an air bnb with my husband.

My original surgery date was supposed to be June 15 but it got pushed back to the second week of September because of covid. It’s still uncomfortable when I’m sitting for a long period of time and I’m starting to notice the tingling in my legs now, I’m so ready to get this surgery over with
