Silicone injection removal after a BBL

This was a bust.

My Surgical Journey
Ok not only am I still going to have to go to Colombia like I should’ve done in the first place, I’m being charged 26.99% interest on a CC card I used that wasn’t pointed out to me. I understand that it’s in the paperwork but what I feel played about is they were helpful with everything else pointing out, highlighting, underlining. But to charge me that amount of interest for almost $4000 in only 12 months is insane! Most companies give you 24-60 months if you have a balance more than $999.00. So I’m stuck with deformed buttocks that are still numb from January 2019. Even though the doctor was very nice I don’t see any reason I should’ve went straight to Colombia to save time, money and trouble. I know it’s a business so I can’t be too upset, but if this advice helps anyone mentally, physically or financially make sure you ask about and see before you pay. The interest rate; how much an how long do you have to pay (if paying with a credit card. The conditions/ risk; my butt is numb, like I can’t feel it there’s something burning my buttocks or if I put ice on my buttocks I can’t feel it. I’m still disfigured and can’t wear pants without a shaper after two surgeries. I’m really disappointed and I wish I had made better choices with the removal process.

I am so sorry for your situation! I have a disfigured buttocks also and am looking to go to Colombia to get fixed. Doctors don’t care about me here in the US. Do you need more silicone removed before you get reconstruction?

Hi Carrotcakes! Who was your Dr?

I had Immediate Bilateral SGAP after Double Mastectomy due to Breast Cancer. I was supposed to look like I had a butt lift, instead, I look like I had an extreme case of biopolymers and got them removed in the emergency room. The doctors only lifted part of my buttocks, pushed my butt cheeks together and sutured them like that. This happened to me 3 yrs ago and here I am still searching for help.

Removed the catheter

My Surgical Journey

I removed the catheter today because I wasn’t draining as much and I wand my buttocks to be even. The lip butter is very inflated so I remove the catheter to let it fluff back out. I’m not draining much on the right anymore unless I have a lot of pressure on the butt so it is getting bigger than I expected but it figures to be always know I can get it drained by a needle or add another catheter. I’m waiting for results I will update you when I see them.

Fluid drained with a catheter

My Surgical Journey

I removed my drains three weeks after I came home from silicone removal surgery. I ripped a stitch in the top part of my right buttock which left a small hole at the top of my butt and that side naturally drains periodically on its own. The left side had gotten very big and had pressure because it wasn’t draining. I went to a doctor Edward Luca in my city and got a cat scan and they thought it was solid implants in my butt, after I told him I had free silicone injections he still didn’t believe I knew what I was talking about. He suggested that I let them “fillet” me open to remove the ruptured implant”. I kept telling him there is no implant and I let them read my medical report so that he’d get a better understanding of what I was telling him. In all honesty I think he did understand but he saw me as an opportunity to get some practice in and dissect and filet my butt for their learning purposes. He even mentioned that they see this all the time and have done some procedures before, which I saw right through his lies. I called Wanda and Dr. Uecker and that were furious with his suggestions and said “please don’t let him cut on you”. I told the physician “Dr. Uecker suggested I get drained and that’s all I want, there is a lot of fluid build up that happened of the last month. I know I till have some silicone but right now I’m trying to drain the fluid to remove the pressure.” He then got angry and said if I don’t want to do it his way then I should leave. I then asked if I could get a different doctor and he said he was the chief and if I don’t like what he is saying I should go back to my doctor in Florida, which is what I ended up doing. Dr. Uecker drained me and I feel fine and look better. Please don’t let these want to use you for practice doctors scare you into letting them “filet” you open.
