Living with pain
Well, I haven't posted in quite a while. Still haven't had the surgery. The silicone has traveled to my hips and outer thighs. Pain intensity varies - sometimes bad, sometimes bearable. However, I've lived with the pain since 2015. Sometimes its a slight burning feeling. I've not grown accustomed to the pain, but rather, with living with the pain.
Condition Worsening
I posted this in a response to an insurance thread, but felt it needed its own segment. My condition continues to worsen. I've noticed distinct lumps on the sides of my outer thighs that feel "mushy" when pressed. I know it is silicone. Clearly, the poison is spreading beyond my butt and I now have constant prickly, tingling, and almost burning sensations in both legs down to my feet. I think that by sitting, the pressure exerted "pushes" the silicone to my lower back, hips, and down my legs.
I try to stay positive and hopeful that this will all work out despite the pain that affects everything; work, sleep, etc. I'm probably looking at multiple surgeries and the potential that the remainder of my life will be spent dealing with health (and pain) issues as a result. Yet, my soul is actually at peace. May God bless all who are going through this ordeal, and know that I continue to pray for you.

Next Step
For those who have gone through this procedure, and have used health insurance, I would like to hear from you. Your response certainly doesn't have to be in the open forum, but I want to know what insurance company and plan you used, as I'll be making my choice of health care in the future. My current coverage will likely not cover the procedure, so I'm looking at procuring another plan that will. Please feel free to PM me, as your input will definitely be considered and appreciated.
