WORTH IT$6,000
Last of my blood work results came in last night. Got Cleared for surgery this morning! Paid the remaining balance for both the surgery and recovery home. Flying out Sunday night 11/10 and arriving Monday 11/11 for pre op and surgery scheduled for 11/12 with Dr.Ghurani. I'm so excited!

Why did you have to do blood work 2 weeks before? I’m not scheduled for anything prior to the day of surgery

Wow, I haven’t recieved anything like that from my doctor. It’s so interesting to see the differences that each ps has as far as requirements. My ps came highly referred but he has never mentioned blood work or stopping bc.

Some places do the blood work there. I had a BBL couple years ago and they did my blood work there since I was local but they did the blood work 2 weeks prior to surgery. Blood work is usually done 2-4 weeks prior to surgery. You want to for sure stop taking birth control pills 4-6 weeks prior to surgery because concern over serious thromboembolism complications (like blood clots). I would call them to confirm.

I did and the patient coordinator said she’s never told that to patients and I’ve asked someone that has been to him as well and she also was never told to stop. They only said to stop all blood thinners( aspirin) and vitamin E

If you know someone that went to him then I'm sure you're fine. I know every doctor is different. When is your date?

Good luck, take before and after!!
Sounds great! And even updates a few years after a procedure are always appreciated and can be helpful to see how results last over time!
