Feeling Remorse with Disappointing Results - 4 Days Post Treatment
The Nurse Practitioner that treats me for botox offered to do instalift for 1/2 price for her to train. I requested to only do my neck and jawline, but was told I would have to do my face to get the jaw to lift. She did 8 threads. The National trainer was present. It was painful (and I had anxiety) so they kept injecting me with lidocaine. Too many injections to count. Half my face paralyzed from one of the injections behind my ear. I now have pain going down my neck from behind my ear. I still have mild numbness on my scalp where the threads came out.
I did not notice an instant result except that I had puckers and ripple. I was told that would go away in 24 hours. It hasn't. I stayed in bed 4 days, slept sitting up on my back, iced often, ate lots of fresh pineapple, and took arnicare tablets. 4 days post treatment, I still feel it did not bring improvement. Am I judging too soon? I am extremely sore, and I can feel the threads to the touch in areas of my face under the skin.
I understand collagen will build over time, but I'm concerned
