How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

Silhouette Instalift

Hi all,
I have been patient in the healing of the Silhouette Instalift I had on June 4, 2019. Though I can see nice subtle difference in cheek area, I am disappointed that entry points are such that I cannot wear my hair up without people commenting on what is on my face. I am hiding still after 9 weeks!
I just wanted to share this photo so you can make the decision. I do have light entry marks on the other side too. This one is just the worse. It will dissolve in time, but my goodness, I want the benefit of the lift before the stuff wears off. LOL!
I do want to add that I bruised terribly, had the notorious "pucker" marks for more than a week, and would in no way say this is a lunchtime procedure, or one with no down time. You need to have looooong weekend, ice it, and be prepared if you bruise.
I share this to let you know the pics you see of people from doctor offices are something of 6 weeks apart. You need to review pics of people who are right after, and a couple days after the procedure. Everyone heals different, but with this procedure there is certainly time needed afterwards.
