Hi all,
I have been patient in the healing of the Silhouette Instalift I had on June 4, 2019. Though I can see nice subtle difference in cheek area, I am disappointed that entry points are such that I cannot wear my hair up without people commenting on what is on my face. I am hiding still after 9 weeks!
I just wanted to share this photo so you can make the decision. I do have light entry marks on the other side too. This one is just the worse. It will dissolve in time, but my goodness, I want the benefit of the lift before the stuff wears off. LOL!
I do want to add that I bruised terribly, had the notorious "pucker" marks for more than a week, and would in no way say this is a lunchtime procedure, or one with no down time. You need to have looooong weekend, ice it, and be prepared if you bruise.
I share this to let you know the pics you see of people from doctor offices are something of 6 weeks apart. You need to review pics of people who are right after, and a couple days after the procedure. Everyone heals different, but with this procedure there is certainly time needed afterwards.

I agree that it's not a lunchtime procedure. I had mine last Wednsday. The bruises started showing up even before the lidocane wore off. I was in a lot of pain that night and it hurt to move. It got better every day and by Monday i felt a lot better and the bruises were mostly covered with makeup.
I got mine done at half price because i agreed to be a guinea pig for them to learn on. They did two of us. I went second and mine went faster than hers. So far i am pretty pleased with the results. I 3 threads on each chek and 2 under my jaw/neck area. It may have been 3 under there.
For the most part it was painless. The threads under my jaw failed twice and had to be replaced. It was no one's fault. The threads just would not anchor. I think by this point the lidocane was wearing off an it was stinging when the lower ones were tightened, the left side hurt like you know what. They ended up giving me more numbing.
I have one small pucker on my cheek but my glasses cover it.
The woman teaching said she has never seen the threads not anchor before. Again not their fault and the company was going to replace them.

I'm scheduled to have this on the 24th and am freaking out to be quite honest. Can you sleep ok after? can you move? I'm getting two on each side of the cheeks and one under chin

I had silhouette instalift, 3 strings on each side and what people need to know is that IT WORKS OVER TIME. You will NOT see immediate results aside from the first day or two of swelling. I wrote a review a few weeks ago and have photos from over a years time and it is over this period you can truly see how effective they were. I am very very happy with the results but people need to understand the way sculpra works. Its not instant at all thus the name is kinda a misnomer.

It’s a relatively quick fix that can remedy that divot. Very tiny amount of a hyaluronic acid filler will even out the area.
