I am a 53 yr old mother of 3 boys and have battled my weight for the last 25 yrs. Finally in June of 2011 I had gastric sleeve surgery and have lost about 80 lbs. I love the weight loss of course but the saggy belly and boobs were making me still feel fat. I finally decided to just take the plunge and have a tummy tuck then I thought well I might as well have pretty boobs too. Lol. I work as an ultrasound tech and ask a Co worker if she knew of a good plastic surgeon and she told me that Dr. Barron O'Neal had done her breast implants several years ago and she was still very pleased with them. A couple of other friends also recommended him so I made an appointment. I was very comfortable with him right from the start. I scheduled my tummy tuck and breast lift for Dec 18.
On the day of surgery Dr. Barron came in to mark me for the breast lift and I mentioned that I would really like them smaller but couldn't pay more for a reduction so please make them look as small as you can with the lift. He said he sure would. I got my pre op Med and the rest is all fuzzy. I don't remember much until after I got home. I took pain meds that day and night, percocet, and one the next day and one the next night and then just tylenol or ibuprofen. The pain has not been bad at all. I got my drain out on day 5 which was yesterday. I haven't taken any thing for pain today and husband and I went to wal mart even.
Now for the best part, my tummy is flat except for a little swelling. Also my wonderful Dr. actually did a breast reduction for me at no additional cost!!!! I went from a tight 36DD-DDD to a 36D and that is still swollen. I am posting some pre opand post op pics. I will give more details later. Merry Christmas to all.

So I will be two weeks post op tomorrow and just wanted to update. I feel really good. I've only been taking ibuprofen since day 2 and am doing good. I've slept in my own bed for the last 4 nights with no problems. My tummy is still really swollen and I can't button my jeans but I know that will change hopefully soon. Some of the steristrips have come off of my breast and from what I can see the scars aren't bad.

You are so right! The weight loss is a mixed blessing, so nice to be at a normal weight again but terrible in the body. I feel really good and can't wait to see the final result in a few weeks.

I am doing great. I'm still really swollen above my incision and my hips and legs are a little swollen. My scales say 6 lbs less than the day of surgery but my jeans are tighter. I could finally button and zip them today though so that's good. I also wanted to add pics that I took this morning.

Your results look great! Took 20 years off at least! Congratulations on your new bod! You look great in your jeans too! It will only get better from here from what I've seen through others' journeys!
