I went in for an extended tummy tuck and muscle repair done in Feb of 2016 and here I am 6 months later and my results are not what I expected to have. Prior to surgery I lost around 90 pounds. I now have really loose skin and feel as though my muscle repair is not tight. Dr would not do lipo at the same time as tummy tuck and was told that I didn't have enough fat anyways. My mons area is really big not at all what I expected it to look like after surgery. Was told that what I got was as good as it would get without having to get a fleur de lis tummy tuck and I just don't think that is true. I have attached my before pictures and pictures I just took today 9/15/16

I think you look good! What is it you don't like? I think There is a huge improvement.

Did you see the picture of when I bend over? All the excess skin hanging? There is apt of skin still left he didn't pull me tight enough. And the skin hangs like a big ball above my vagina on the mons area. I've been to a different surgeon who will be doing a revision on me early next year. It does appear to look like a big improvement but only if I stand straight up and don't bend or sit.

I'm so sorry I'm in the same boat complain to dr he said it's to early and why would I want a fleur de lays due that I would have a bigger scar I told him I didn't care I was not going to show off my body just wanted to look good in my clothes I'm mad depressed that he brushed me off but I will continue to let him know my concern in my fallow ups until he gives me what I want

I'm sorry that your results aren't what you wanted. I am going to have a revision next week on both my breast and my tummy tuck. Like you I have lose skin and a large pubis mons , not to mention a shelf above my TT scar . You aren't alone , even though it is disappointing and costly in more then one way , me and other here on RS are going through a similar experience. How are you doing now ? Any updates? Have you thought about a revision? Hope all is well -GnG
