WORTH IT$6,000

Ive always had issues with my weight. I exercize and like to workout however I eat more to compensate my calorie burn. I had a consultation scheduled weeks ago and then chickened out. While on vacation (another dreaded beach trip) I found this site and felt so at ease that I rescheduled my appointment. Even at my thinnest I have never had great self-esteem. I feel a TT is the first step but I know I will have to change on the inside too. My husband and I have beentogether since we were 17 and he has always been complimentary and affirming and always supportive of my weight loss attempts. I recently was able to lose 40 lbs and ran a half-marathon. I am still overweight though and running with this belly is difficult-as well as finding something to run in. Ifeel selfish spending the $ and time but I think and pray EVERYONE will feel it was worth it! Im 37 years old. The last time I wore a 2 piece was at age 18 and I weighed 160lbs. Even then I had a pooch but I am 5'8 and am well proportioned. Now I weigh 198lbs and want to lose a little more before surgery. My goal is not to wear a 2 piece but to not look bad in a one piece and feel comfortable with my husband. Will update after my consult and add pics then.

Exact same story! Had my surgery at 200, best decision ever! Have worked out hard my entire life, always have the pooch! impossible finding clothes, always workout in a baggy shirt, hate getting ready to go out, no bathing suits! You will love it! Honestly I think I went from bombing out to bombshell in a night! Not being vain, I just feel so much better, I'm not a bombshell, I just feel so good

Well next Monday, July 9th is the day. I'm still wondering if I should be getting lipo too. Would my PS have suggested it if he thought it would give me better results? Anyway, I am so excited. I just need some advice on how I need to prepare for post-op ie. foods, clothes, etc. Also posted pics

HI, I just had my TT on 6-28 -12 and I am doing fine. I bought me some unsalted crackers, fruit, applesauce, yogurt and some other light foods just to have at home. But I have been on a regular diet since I got home. I am trying not to eat salt because that enhances the swelling. Be sure to take some lose comfortable pants to the hospital. I had scrubs but the velour like pants should be perfect. Also, you want a button down shirt to put on. Up your vitamin C intake if you have not already done so. I think that;s another reason I am doing so well. The help of the good LORD is first of course. Make sure the house is cleaned and you have someone to help you. If you can stay at the facility the first night that is also a lifesaver. The first day is the roughest. I kinda touched a tad of everyhting and it might sound all over the place. But hope this helps. Everything went so smoothly for me.

8 hours post op. Very groggy. The worst part is the muscle repair. He had to repair it the entire length of my abdomen. My husband wowed when he saw my belly but I'm too hunched over to look. Praying it's all worth it. Wishing I had bought a recliner and a raised toilet seat. Best wishes healing
