69 Yeas Old, Had a Neck That Looked Horrible!

I have had a large weight loss (surgery), and have lots of loose skin. I was able to get a tummy tuck years ago, and have LOVED it, so as I've gotten older, I wanted to look as good as I could. I had spent $6500 on fillers last year, and they lasted about 6 mos. NOT AT DERM SA~ I went back and asked about longer lasting fillers and told it would be $14,000, and they would last 5 yrs. I was told the other fillers would last 18-24 mos, so I knew I would never get 5 yrs out of them. I am a nurse (still working), and all of my c-workers suggested surgery as an alternative. I checked it out, and decided it was well worth the cost. Dr. Ferguson did a wonderful job, I have an amazing chin line now, and he was able to put some of my own fat into my cheeks. What I really appreciated was that some of the things I was thinking of, tho do-able, the results would not be what I was anticipating. Dr. F. was very concerned about me looking natural, and explained why some of my ideas were not feasible. (Think The Joker). My recovery was about 10 days (went back to work). I had one bruise on my chin, but that's because I no longer had the lines around my mouth! Small price to pay! Surgery was not painless, but it was not horrible. I am still sensitive, and going to get my hair done for the first time since surgery. The response has been wonderful - I was very open about it, so all of my coworkers have been curious. When my patients see me, the most frequent comment is how refreshed I look, others have told me I look really healthy.

Dr. Ferguson did a really good job. As a nurse, I appreciate his caring and willingness to listen to what I was saying. As a nurse, we don't say that about doctors too often, especially surgeons! His office staff has been more than kind and knowledgeable. I also like that if my appointment is at 8AM, he is there and ready to see me. I work with 2 MD's, a psychiatrist and a Family Practice MD, both women, and they have kept a close eye on me and are both impressed with how I'm healing, and my lack of scarring.

If you have any interest at all, I highly recommend checking into it. I am very glad I made the decision to go through with the surgery. My husband hasn't said much too me about it, however, I've had a number of people tell me he's talking about how good I look! THANK YOU DR. FERGUSON! Thank yoou for working your magic!
