Chin Implant London

Hi everyone, I hope this review will be helpful to anyone considering a chin implant. I always disliked my profile, and felt my face was a little frustratingly out of balance (large nose, weak chin). I always felt averagely pretty, but knew I would look much better all round (including in photos), if Inhad these things improved. My parents helped me to get a rhinoplasty in my late teens- I'm now a young looking early forties- and it was the best the thing I ever did. I looked much better, and it improved my confidence.

However, I stopped short back then and didn't get a chin implant, although the two procedures often go together. In those days, chin implants were quite rare, and my parents were worried about the risk of having an implant. Now, though, my life has moved on- I'm married, financially independent, and chin implants are much more widely undertaken. As I fortunately still look and feel youthful, I decided it was now or never to "finish off" correcting the balance in my face. My chin was short vertically, as well as recessed mildly, and I needed an implant to solve both issues.

I found Mr Allen Rezai online, and he had great reviews from previous patients. He also offered consultations in my home city, which was very convenient, although he performs his operations in London. I immediately felt at ease when I met him, and found him and his assistant Jayne to be very reassuring. Mr Rezai listened very carefully, and immediately agreed and understood what I needed the implant to achieve. He recommended a Eurosilicone extended anatomical implant, giving 6mm vertical height, and 6mm forward projection. Although I was fretting about the size beforehand, it has turned out to be just right for my face and solving my concerns- he had very good judgement. Any less would not have been enough, and any more would have been too big and obvious.

The whole process has been smooth from start to finish, with no problems. We travelled to London's Welbeck Hospital, where I was a day patient, and went home that night. Swelling was minimal, and there was no pain. My lower lip is still numb and a bit stiff, but hopefully this will continue to improve, and it was worth it. I look and feel so much better. The results are noticeable, yet subtle, and everyone who knows me has commented that I look "very well", since, but they haven't been able to guess what I had done. I also look about 5 years younger now, as Mr Rezai commented upon, which is always a bonus! My only regret is that I didn't have it done a decade ago, but Mr Rezai pointed out that the materials and techniques are much more advanced now, and offer a much more customised approach.
Mr Rezai has been fantastic, and I won't hesitate to go to him again, or recommend him in the future. His staff are all very supportive and easy to contact, too, especially post procedure.
