I saw Dr. Andrew Campbell for a mini-face lift procedure. I found his staff to be personable and his office processes efficient. The procedure was done under local anesthesia which saved me in cost substantially. Numbing procedure was with MINIMAL discomfort. I looked great right after the procedure (with expected swelling) and FANTASTIC by seven days. Bruising present, but expected with such a procedure. My youthful jawline is restored! I share the pic as I know it is a scary thing to put the trust of your facial appearance in someone's hands. My hope is to help others with their search for the right provider. Near or far, he is WORTH the trip.

You look great at 9 days post-op! What is your age? Do you have any before pictures and more after pictures? And.......did you have a neck lift (with a small incision under your chin) along with the mini? Again congratulations!

Thank you so kindly for the compliment! I will be 48 years old in a few months. I did not think to take my own before pictures as I did not anticipate ever posting pictures. To be very honest, the only reason I posted pictures was I was absolutely in awe of the results, and truly because I want to help others find a skilled facial surgeon. Our face is a precious commodity! I had pre-jowls and my face shape had changed from "heart-like" into "rectangle-like". I did not have a neck lift, but I did have some minor sagging of the neck. The small amount of sagging was remedied from the lift.

The mini lift I had is also referred to as a SMAS lift. Yes, the local surprisingly was not uncomfortable. I was at complete ease under his confident care. Only scars that are truly visible are hidden behind my ears, however, I have already worn a high pony tail with NO worries. Thank you for the compliment. The procedure was worth every penny:).

I have an appointment in a few weeks with Dr. Campbell, I only have a couple days to heal and then have to go back to work and am worried I won't be able to hide my stitches! Did it take long to heal? Any advice?

I am not sure if my response is too late. If you had the procedure, I hope you are doing well. If you are still contemplating it, just keep your hair down. No one will see anything. By month 4, I had my hair in a highbun. Scars are pink before they turn into an invisible white for a number of months. Just put the dermablend coverup on them. Dr. Campbell blends the scar into your hairline and behind your ear if you need one behind the ear (it is my understanding the more sagging, sometimes the scar behind the ear is needed, which I had to have). Post your results, if you get the procedure, we would all love to see how great you look:).

Your Dr would have your before photos. It hard to tell how good his work is without knowing what he had to work with. If you'd be willing to post them it would be very helpful :)
