I Love my New Nose! :)
WORTH IT
I had a septorhinoplasty and turbinate reduction on December 22 with Dr Alexander. I am now 3 months post-op and I am loving my results.
I disliked my nose my entire life – I always felt it was too big for my face. I wanted something that still looked like me but smaller, more refined, and more feminine. Dr. Alexander knew exactly what to do. I absolutely love my result so far. It's natural but still a huge difference. My new nose suits my ethnicity and fits in harmony with my chin and forehead as well. My confidence has gone up so much. I cannot wait to see what it looks like fully healed in a year! I know when I was looking for surgeons I would spend a long time reading reviews, so I hope this can help someone.
When I woke up from anesthesia, there was a nurse there to help me every step of the way. I recovered at home for a week, slept upright, and overall felt a bit of discomfort. Mouth-breathing was very difficult. I also had to clean my nose several times a day with a sinus rinse. When the cast was removed, I was very swollen but this eventually goes down with every week. I avoided the gym for a bit to prevent excess swelling. Dr. Alexander will give you a set of instructions and prescriptions as well. To this day, I am taping my nose every night. My 6 month check up with Dr. Alexander is just around the corner.
Dr Alexander is incredibly talented and attentive to detail. I had two consultations with him prior to surgery where we discussed what my concerns and wants were. He is super friendly and knowledgeable in the field.
The staff at the clinic are very nice and quick at responding to emails and calls. I had to change the day of my surgery before and they were fast to help. I had a very good experience overall. Highly recommend!
