Septoplasty/rhinoplasty/turbinate reduction - I was blown away

I have been wanting and researching nose surgery for the past several years. When I was in college I remember asking my mother if she could breathe out of both sides of her nose and she was so freaked out that I couldnt! But I had been living with a deviated septum my whole life and didn’t know any different. In addition to not being able to breathe I hated the way my nose looked while smiling. I did extensive research and found Dr. Mehta and felt very confident in booking a consultation since he specializes in nose surgeries specifically. The consultation took over an hour and was extremely thorough and I was so happy! Your nose is smack dab in the middle of the face so it has to be right and I felt confident with Dr. Mehta. I had my surgery October 8 and was back to work on October 18. Nobody could tell I had surgery which is what I wanted, a natural look with an improved version of my old nose that still fits my face. It was very sensitive at this time but I was able to gently put on makeup. Also when I had the tubes removed at my first post op I had the BEST nights of sleep in my life. I was blown away at how well I could breathe and I was not tired at all when I woke up—something very new to me! I’m heading to my next post op soon and will add more updates. :)
