Natural but effective result - very personable and responsive surgeon

I had been told by others there was nothing to be done about my nose, since my skin was very thick. This consultation was a last ditch effort before giving up for life. I never thought I’d go ahead with surgery, but it was actually Deniz’s frankness and matter of fact attitude that made me press ahead. I didn’t feel as though I was being sold to, if anything it was up to me to prove to him that I was a patient with realistic expectations.

Barely 2 weeks after the surgery, people who knew I’d had a nose job said the difference was barely noticeable, which tells me my new nose isn’t divorced from the rest of my features. And yet, however imperceptible the difference is to others, to me, it’s vast. It is a highly dissociative experience for this reason, particularly as the swelling process is so extended, and so volatile from one day to the next. After the operation you will see many iterations of your new nose (for me it took about 6/7 weeks for the tip to drop and the swelling to go down sufficiently for me to feel more comfortable). Swelling will remain for a year or more, albeit in small quantities, so the road ahead is long.

What I can say is Deniz has always been very personable and responsive. He assessed each face individually and listens carefully to concerns.
