100% worth it and if I have to do it all over again I would

WORTH IT
I had a Septoplasty performed by Doctor Dilber about a month ago. I am going to begin with the fact that he is a true specialist who truly cares about his patients and their health! He was nothing short of patient and caring when it came to my case. I ended up at Doctor Dilber’s office after an unsuccessful rhinoplasty performed by another surgeon. I was unable to breath for 3 years and after long and hard research I decided to trust Doctor Dilber with my septoplasty - I knew the risk was high and as such I wanted to go to an ENT and not just a plastic surgeon as my issue was medical now rather than aesthetic. After long hours of research, I decided to trust Doctor Dilber as he fits the category of a Doctor who understand both plastic surgery as well as the true technical medical side of breathing and anything related to the nose. Going back I wish I would have went to him sooner because being able to breath again has been truly a blessing! I didn’t think that this was possible so I am still in disbelief when I wake up and I can breath freely without a nasal spray!!!
Doctor Dilber was extremely patient with me - he explained everything in detail to me before the surgery and also the day of the surgery. I had an enormous fear trusting another surgeon after my unsuccessful rhinoplasty and I could honestly say he was so understanding of me and patient every step of the way. He said something to me that I will never forget “If you don’t trust me, you shouldn’t do it” - and I appreciate that so much because this is when I knew he is a good human first and I’m not just another patient to him and he truly cares to help me! He operated me on his birthday, which happened to be a Sunday (so I guess no days off for him). He also knew my big fear of anasthesia so he found a way to distract me while they were putting me to sleep to help with my anxiety (again how many doctors will do this and spend time with their patient to make them feel more comfortable and at ease??!).
After the surgery, he came to see me and make sure I was okay as he was leaving the hospital. The nurses were great as well - they took good care of me whenever I needed anything including food and water. A few days after the surgery, I have gotten pretty bad bleeding (which is expected and normal with this type of surgery) so he came to personally see me at the hospital - he checked that everything looked good, changed my tampons in the morning, put extra medicine for me and then came back to check on me a few hours later before allowing me to leave the hospital. In addition, I was flying to the USA in a few days so he pretty much asked me to come in and see him almost every day to ensure the bleeding is under control and it’s safe for me to fly and leave the country! He gave me tons of medicine for the road and explained to me exactly what I need to do during my flight! He also answered all my questions every single one of them, which I’m so grateful for as I was pretty scared to fly after the surgery!
To conclude - being in a foreign country alone is a pretty scary experience, especially getting a surgery on top of that - but I would say that it was 10000% worth it and if I have to do it all over again I would! Today a month later I feel amazing, I breath just fine, I have no pain and no bruising. I even forgot the whole experience now with the exception of Doctor Dilber who really gave me my life back! A true caring and loving doctor, who really cares about his patients and really knows what he is doing! I can’t say enough about him - but I will stop now :)!
With that being said the only thing I wish for is that I spoke his language or he spoke mine so I can express to him my upmost gratitude and respect for everything he did for me! Again, if you need someone not just for the aesthetic part, but the actual medical side of things - he is the Doctor for you!
Thank you Doctor Dilber!
