The begging of 8 years of hell
DEVO3005September 18, 2017
I was supposed to have my deviated septum fixed by Timothy Edwards. He also offered to straighten my nose "while he was there". Even though I was happy with the appearance of my nose at the time I agreed, as it didn't seem to be a big deal, boy was I wrong! I came out of surgery with lumps and bumps all over my nose. My incision SARS were very crooked, lumpy and I had a fat fold of skin sticking out of my left nostril. The tip of my nose had a hard piece of cartilage poking out- looked like bone piercing the tip of my nose. He did a second surgery to revise the first but I came out looking exactly the same if not worse. 8 years later and 6 more surgeries, I was lucky enough to find someone able to fix the mess I was in. The most disturbing part about the whole thing is, that in all those surgeries not once has my septum been touched! It was still completely intact and as deviated as it's always been! So not sure what Tim went in there to do? I am not sure why I paid for a septoplasty that never happened? When I asked him why I couldn't breath any better (at my followup appointment) he said "well it's obviously not your septum that's the problem, you have allergies, you need to use nasal spray". My letter I wrote explaining my issues never got answered. Just appalling
