Fraxel-induced Rosacea Treatment by Synergy Multiplex and Genesis Lasers

what I regret the most in my life, is doing Fraxel Dual at February. I didn't have any scars, just pores and some pimples, so I don't know why doctor recommended it. Especially considering the fact that I have rosacea. It was some cheap skin clinic in Seoul, and I regret not researching more. My face was covered in thousands of pimples, my pores got super huge and rosacea worsened too. A lot. I couldn't come out from the house for one month, and it was a very difficult time..
And then I decided to search for good skin clinics in Korea that can treat Fraxel side effects. And I found one hospital which is called ??????? (not sure how it is in English), and it is famous here for treating rosacea. If you can speak Korean, please search about the hospital on naver.
First I hesitated a lot, as the thought of getting one more laser really scared me. But eventually, I saved some money and decided to try. When I first came to the clinic in July, the doctor immediately prescribed me Accutane (10mg per day), and said that i needed 3 treatments of Synergy Multiplex laser and 2 of Genesis. Plus every two weeks I had after-care like extracting my pimples and masks.
Not sure if Genesis helped but I feel that it was more thanks to Synergy that my skin has improved. It does not work with heating, it works by blowing wind to skin (sorry for my English). And also Accutane, definitely it helped. I took 10mg per day for first two months, and now I am taking 10mg per three days, and I am not sure if I should stop it.
I wrote reviews in Korean websites but I also decided to leave my review here, if it would help anybody. I feel my skin is still not that good, but it got a lot better from that mess that Fraxel left. It's a pity that I cannot afford paying more.. I am a student here, but maybe after some time I would like to continue my treatment.
And also some advises for those who suffer from fraxel-induced rosacea: don't do IPL! It will make your skin only worse! And Genesis too is not that effective! I recommend only Synergy Multiplex! It really helped me with that mess after Fraxel, and I feel that my skin become more smooth and my pores got smaller.
And also during treatment it was advised to me to use prescribed cream every 3 hours along with suncream, drink a lot of water, avoid alcohol (I still drank and smoke for some time though), decrease consumption of chocolate, coffee and bananas (not sure why), and sleep very well.
Ehh... I just hope my skin will not worsen after all of this. Cannot believe what stupid Fraxel did. Doctor in my skin clinic doesn't do Fraxel, and does not recommend it to anybody. Especially to people with rosacea.

Thanks! Honestly I am not that sure haha doctor was explaining it, but my Korean was not up to that level to understand her. From what I researched in Korean websites - it is for people with rosacea, very safe and it is not one of those heating or resurfacing lasers like fraxel or genesis. I just felt cool wind - and the doctor was also covering my face with her hand while doing the procedure - so yeah, must be very safe laser :)

Your skin is beautiful! Thanks for the information-I am struggling with rosacea. Some of the treatments scare me but the creams are not helping.

If you look up Cynergy multiplex laser on the web it will show several sites that explain it. I don’t know if RS will allow a link https://www.cynosure.com/product/cynergy-mpx/4_case_report_cynergy_leg-veins/ Or https://rosacea-support.org/long-pulse-dye-laser-and-ndyag-cynergy-multiplex-used-together.html/amp

I totally emphasize with her issue as I’m looking at getting VBeam now after Fraxel as my mild rosacea is now not so mild.
