For years I have had a spare type around my waist...

For years I have had a spare type around my waist which has somewhat. embarrassed me . Over the years it has grown from fitting a small saloon to JCB sized. The rest of my body doesn't really have that much fat attached.
Prior to the current procedure, in September 2004, I decided it was time to rectify the problem and started to investigate what was available. After a while, I decided to have liposuction to my waist and stomach. Being a bit risk averse, I decided I wanted the procedure in a hospital with proper intensive care facilities in case I reacted badly to the general anesthetic. I found just the facility in Madrid, read the reviews for the doctor on real self and contacted the hospital. I sent some photographs through and the doctor suggested a tummy tuck and liposuction because I had a small ford of skin on the abdomen and so I booked the session.
On the day of the procedure which was 9th January 2015, the doctor recommended a panniculectomy rather than the tummy tuck because of the shape of my chest; so I had this and some liposuction and you can see the results in the before photos below. I must admit that the panniculectomy removed the fold of skin; however I was nowhere near the outcome I expected.
I waited about 8 months following the previous surgery to see if it would improve and it didn't. So, I began researching the various techniques available and came across vaser liposuction. I looked a before and after photographs on different clinic websites and found Selston Cosmetic Clinic. The clinic had a great deal more photos than any other site but what impressed me most was the number of men that had had the procedure. Many of the men had hi-def vaser on their abdomen to produce a six-pack and to be honest, the photos showed a much more natural looking six packs than I saw looking at other clinic results. However, being a bit over 40, this wasn't an option. I did see a before and after video of a bloke who had a similar physique (I use this word in it's widest sense) and the results looked fantastic.
So I contacted the clinic and booked a free consultation with Dr Bassi at the Selston Clinic near Nottingham in the UK. Dr Bassis also has a clinic in London but charges for a consultation there and being a true Scotsman, I chose the free consultation. At the visit, I met Dr Bassi and his nurse, Mags and both were friendly. Dr Bassi explained what he would do and asked me to go home and consider. However, I booked the procedure on the day.
I arrived at the Selston Clinic about an hour before the procedure and completed a few forms. Dr Bassi gave me a sedative because the procedure would be carried out using local anesthesia. The procedure took approximately 2 hours during which we chatted about holidays, etc. Now I can't stand needles, however, the experience was not unpleasant at all with no apparent pain.
When finished, I saw the outcome and was really impressed. Dr Bassi has an extensive post procedure regime to follow and these include the following. Wear a compression garment 24 hours a day as well as a Everlast slimming belt fastened tightly around the area. A number of massages are recommended by a professional which includes ultrasound massage and deep massage. Dr Bassi recommended Cathie Stone in Knutsford near Manchester; the area where I live. I had five sessions with Cathie before she went on holiday. I also had 5 Thai massages following this. I also performed my own ultrasound and massages and still do so at this point in time.
The first follow up visit with Dr Bassi was a week following the session and have also attended at 6 weeks. Everything has gone really well.
I have included the 'after' photos that were taken 7 weeks following the procedure. As you can see, the difference is astounding and to say I'm thrilled would be an understatement. Of course, Dr Bassi has performed over 1500 vaser surgeries and was the first in the UK to use this technique, so the results should no be unexpected.
