Time for Me! Tummy Tuck with MR, no Lipo - Seattle, WA

I haven't been very good at updating my progress. I actually was feeling pretty blue, like everyone else was making progress and I still had this huge swollen bump in front. I woke up yesterday morning, 4 days shy of 2 months post op, and noticed my swelling in front is finally starting to decrease. Finally! I still have a tiny pooch but when i look at the weeks of progress, I can tell a definite difference. Yay :)

I didn't get any lipo with my surgery, because I feel like when you get lipo the fat just goes to other places and I didn't want that. WHen i look at everyone else's photos, especially those of you that got lipo, I sometimes have buyers remorse because I still have hips. I still have love handles that didn't get lipo'd away. But, that is ok. I wasn't trying to look stick thin and I really did NOT want any lipo, and I need to be ok with my results. I look 100x better than I did, even without lipo, and I am happy with my result so far.

It's been awhile since i updated so I have a few weeks worth of pics to share. I'm healing nicely.... Started my silicon scar therapy and I'm slowly starting to use a CG less and less. It really hurts my stomach to go without, but I'm trying. I just (this week) started sleeping without a binder or CG.

So,4 weeks today! I'm pretty swollen and puffy in these pics but making progress. I have been way overdoing it this week so I guess it's to be expected! I am starting silicon scar strips this week.
