Picture of my Journey

Pre-Op through 8 weeks

8weeks post-op

Here's a picture journey from where I started to where I am now. Don't get me wrong, I definitely see a progression of improvement. It's just not there for me yet :(

8 weeks post-op

Okay ladies, I'm trying to love myself, but I'm really feeling disappointed in my results thus far. The "swelling" at my scarline is just a pooch. There's like a half inch to an inch that could done away with yet to make my tummy flat. It is definitely NOT flat. And it's lopsided. It's hard to show in pictures but I took a bunch to see what you guys think. There still might be fluid even on the left side that's making it uneven/lopsided. Also, the right end of my scar looks to be healing flat, but I think the right side is a "dog ear".

I go back to my PS in three weeks. I love her but I really am not completely satisfied with my results. 8 weeks is enough to know what the end result is gonna look like. I hate the thought of scar revision, but hate the thought of regret even more :(

I'd really appreciate feedback from this round of photos.

I had my consultation with Dr. Peters in May and she was extremely caring and educational. I was left with the utmost confidence that she is the doc who can sculpt my body into what it's meant to be :) The staff that I interacted with was professional and interested in what I wanted to interview them about., especially Azaria, the patient coordinator. In September I decided to go ahead with the surgery and scheduled on November 13th. The staff was timely and everyone made me feel very comfortable. I am one week post-op. At this point, no regrets whatsoever.
