I'll probably buy more of it on amazon just because though. They said this is the only known thing to help with scar healing/visibility and it only lasts for around two weeks each use. You take it off when you shower and clean it and pop it back on until it stops sticking to your body and you just put a new one on.
Not much else to report! I took some 3 week photos but they're on my camera and I'm.. *cough* a little lazy.
Two week post-op photos
The past two nights I've been trying to sleep with two pillows under my head and pillows under my knees but I have been waking up in the middle of the night with my lower back killing me. I'm not sure if I want to continue sleeping like this for now vs. around my back at a 45 degree angle which I woke up with my back not having as much pain. After sitting up and walking around for a bit the pain has gone away but is still a little sore.
Yesterday after I took a shower I also went to try on thongs I bought in the past that were not wearable because they would get sucked into the fat+skinroll void and they looked really cute and didn't roll! I'm super happy with that. I can finally wear cute underwear for once in my life.
Not much more updates for now. I did this whole surgery after I finished with college so I need to start brushing up my resume+cover letter and looking for a job. However I'm hoping I'll be able to stand up straight soon because I don't want to look unprofessional slouched over a little for job interviews.
Provider Review
Dr. Grenley was very informative on everything to do with my tummy tuck from how he does tummy tucks, how other kinds are performed, to risks and everything in between. I found him on RealSelf and through a friend from my Gym; I had a few doctors, including him in mind and my friend highly recommended Dr. Grenley so I decided to meet him and have surgery with him. Dr. Grenley was very kind but straight to the point and down to business (so no 'fluff'). After my consultation I got a handwritten 'thank you' letter from him which I thought was incredibly classy and I really appreciated it, small gestures to me is a big deal. Also when I called to ask a question after surgery when the office wasn't open he called my home soon afterward to answer my question. I spoke to Dr. Grenley's patient scheduler through email and phone and she was a pleasure, very kind and chatty and made sure to get the information I needed to know quickly if she had to ask someone else for the answer. My nurse was lovely, she gave me tons of care and made sure I was okay all along the way, she was very comforting and I felt very safe in her hands.
