2 MONTH UPDATE/PICTURES

I'm so pleased with what's happening to my body. Looking at these pictures it looked like I lost several pounds but it's only about 2.5 so it's not about the weight loss I guess. I'm excited to continue to see changes as I still have pockets of fluid and swelling. Feeling very good right now. Thanks to all the encouragement on this site I feel I have had good support along the way cause NO ONE other than my husband knows I had this done. Keep on keeping on!

Wore a 2 piece bathing suit! First time in 13+ years
I'm just shy of 7 weeks post op and wore a 2 piece over the weekend at the beach. It felt great to have the sun on my belly ????. I didn't look perfect nor did I expect it but it felt great and soooo liberating. As far as how I'm feeling/healing, my flanks are still sore especially After not wearing my CG for a day or so and I still have pockets of fluid that build up on my lower abdomen. I can work them out myself but it's creepy cause I can hear the squishing sounds in there ????. Anyone else have fluid pockets after this many weeks?

I made up my mind. I'm going to get my smart lipo. I am not getting a tummy tuck. I don't like the ugly scar and I'm not feeling the pain i will be going through. I don't have to have a perfectly flat stomach, but I can improve on what i have currently. So happy for you. Can't wait till i can wear my two piece!

I finally see a difference in my tummy!
It's taken almost 6 weeks to really see a difference in my tummy. It's odd how some of us have immediate results and some have to wait weeks. Hmmmmm.

your results are amazing. Thanks for sharing your journey. Im thinking of smart lip for my tummy but I think i will need a TT which I don't want ;-( was hoping that there would be some tightening with the smart lipo but your tummy didn't have any real pooches to it and the skin is firm. You look great!

Hi Tigerlilly50! I have a laparotomy scar. Maybe you can see it if you look closely. It's basically like a c section scar and i have a kind of "shelf" it creates right above it. Nothing but a TT will get rid of that but there is still a way to improve with smart lipo. It's local anesthia so not as taxing as it other surgeries can be. You could always consult with a PS in your area for lipo just on your tummy. Just saying!

LOL. Thank you! I consulted with one PS and he was directing me to TT. But I am going to consult with another that does the smart Lipo and see what he says. Thank you for taking the time to respond.
