I went to the doctor today. I drove myself ( 2 hours each way) and I don't recommend it. :-( The PS said I looked good and he was glad I chose to do the additional work. He removed the steri strips and told me to start taping instead. I am supposed to change the tape twice a week for 2 weeks. Then I can start doing the scar treatment. I also was told t start massaging the lipo area's, starting gently at first and then getting firmer and firmer to smooth everything out. He said I can use lotion or what I prefer, bio oil as long as it doesn't get on the incisions. He also said I can start light walking on the treadmill at 4 weeks! That's 2 weeks sooner than last time! It is going to be hard to make it to the 4 weeks with my kids out of school now for the summer. I don't go back to see him until 6 weeks. I also started getting the nerve pains. OUCH?!? Its between and ouch and an ahhh! LOL! Swelling has been no fun lately either. It kicked in on Friday and Swell Hell ever since. The cg helps, I love that thing! Hope everyone is enjoying their result and healing nicely!

1 week mark!!
I slept in bed last night, of course with pillows galore. Lol I woke up a little more stiff this morning but after moving around I am actually feeling pretty good. I even had the energy to shave in the shower this morning!! ;-) Pain is minimal, I feel the bruising in my back but the tightness I have been feeling there since day one (like I need to stretch badly) isn't so bad. No pain meds since Tuesday (again:-) ) On the mend!! Yay!!

Hi, did you pay again for the extended incisions, lipo on your flanks and lipo around your belly button? I think this is what I have to anticipate save for extra money just in case if there is a reversion needed. For me, I think they shouldn't ask for it if it's their mistake.

I had to pay for the lipo, anesthesia and operating room. I didn't get charged for extending the incision or revising the vertical. One thing I would tell you is stress ALL the areas your worried about. I have read a lot about how "love handles" are a big problem after surgery so people have to go back under to have it fixed, me included. Therefor more money you weren't expecting. When doing some lipo in all areas makes it to where going back is not needed. Really talk with you ps and make sure he know you want to come out of this with the best results possible. Good luck!!

Hi Pam I am only 2 weeks out but just read over your posts. I am allready disappointed in my love handle area. I did discuss this with my ps before surgery. He said if he extended my tt incision to get rid of my love handles then he wouldnt do my boobs at the same time. He said you have to be turned to extend he said. He did make my incision a little longer in case I wanted to come back in 6 months or so and have that done. I have allready spent 17,000 and like many of us just want to look so much better than I did before. I tried on some swimsuit bottoms and my sides hang over so I dunno I am having a blah day. I also have a part of my incision not healing well so he said that will take longer to heal than the rest of my scar. Did you use the scar away sheets from a drug store or did you go online and order them. He said I should start using them but not on the bad part of my incision. You are looking awesome I am going to follow your recovery and see how you like everything after the revision. If you wouldnt mind could you pm me the cost of what you just had done. My husband said he cant believe I would want to do any more lol I guess I will be on my own this next round if I decide to. Thanks so much have a great weekend!

I'm sorry your unhappy. It's so hard to go through a surgery that intense and come out without a huge smile on your face. I used the scar away silicone sheets inline and at the store. Each box you buy gives you a $2 off coupon to but more in the store so that helps a little. I got the 7" strips for my Tt and used two. One long one and one cut in half for the rest. Then I used the 3" inch for my ba scars. Also massage is really important and I liked to do it with bio oil. Mederma didn't work for me, I got really itchy with it. I also heard it might do the opposite and make the scar darker?!? I'm sure your husband wants you to be happy. We need our self confidence in our bodies for it to shine through!!
