Two weeks to go!

Well! I have two weeks and one day until my surgery! Eeee! Your hear both a tone of excitement and nerves.
Tomorrow is my pre op appointment. I feel bad for the doctor because it might actually end up being more like the original consultation. Ha! When I went in before, I had NO idea what I was looking for. It wasn't until after that first appointment that I found RS. Now I have a million questions! I am hoping to go in with my wish pics and say, "Doc, knowing my current measurements and seeing my wishes and hearing my desires, what do YOU think I should go with???" If it were left up to me I THINK I would do 385 cc's. But the challenge is, there are some women who do this and end up huge and some women who do this and end up too small. I don't think this decision is best placed in my hands. I mean, he is the artist right?

So my scar and the oil treatment! I'm not sure if it has changed much in the way it looks. ?? I will post a pic and you can be the judge. However, what I have noticed, is that I do in fact, have more feeling in my right side! I'm beginning to have strange twinges and little pokes (?). So I am assuming the nerves are beginning to reconnect or whatever it is they do! So hmm...not quite what I was expecting. Yet, still very effective.
I'm also going to post a few more sad naked pics so that I can remind myself why I am doing these surgeries. And perhaps to remind myself why I did it. Just in case I ever have a moment of regret...

Oops!

I meant to say that I have put the oils on my RIGHT side of my scar. Lookers left. Make sense?...

Scar

I have four children. All girls. Ages 9, 4, and the twins are 4 months old.
My two oldest were birthed naturally with midwives. The twins were breech and we did a c section with a doctor. I love every single one of my birth stories! And...I LOVE my c section scar.
I am sad at the idea of losing the original scar for a TT scar. I'm going to ask my PS if there is any way he can use the same one. Not sure if that is even possible. ??
But since I am on the subject of scars... I suppose I am about to have a few more...
So I've been doing a little research on healing scars. I've seen so many posts from all the wonderful ladies of RealSelf on scar remedies. I am so thankful and will definitely stock up on several of the suggested items.
But I got to thinking...what about essential oils?? So I have made a little potion out of fractionated coconut oil with lavender, frankincense, geranium and helichrysm. And because I already have a (somewhat fresh) scar, I've decided to do an experiment! For the next four weeks (until my surgery date) I'm going to put the potion on half of my scar and see if it makes any difference. I will update my scar picture each week. Let's put essential oils to the test shall we?!
