Like most moms breast feeding your kids and fluctuating weight does a number on your body. Even with working out 4 times a week and eating right my stomach still looked like a wreck. And my boobs, those suckers are a whole different story. I wore a 34-36 B but could have fit into an A if it weren't for all the stretched out skin. Lingerie was something that I wasn't comfortable wearing since it emphasized how bad my boobs were. Anyway, I took the plunge yesterday (7/28). Had a mini tummy tuck with muscle repair and 339cc silicone implants under the muscle. Yesterday was really hard, the oxycodone made me severely nauseated and I wasn't able to walk to the bathroom without feeling like I was about to pass out. Around midnight I started to feel better. I've stopped the oxy and am only taking Tylenol. I also haven't had a Valium since 10pm last night and am feeling pretty good. I don't feel much 'pain' but lots of soreness above my breasts. Have my post op appt later today and hope I get my drain out (it's only drained about 20cc). My husband has been awesome taking care of me so far. Hope to be feeling better each day so I can get back to being 'mom'. I highly recommend buying button up pj shirts and extra hoodies (2 sizes bigger) so it's easier to get dressed.

Try those zip-up old lady PJ robes! They're very inexpensive and come in many colors and comfy fabrics... I bought a black one with pockets for the drains and a cute pink one! I'm ready! (almost 4 days pre!!) The zippers should make it easier to put on and I bought larger so I can wear them all day long... Happy healing!

Thank you for sharing! It must be a relief to be on the other side of surgery. It sounds like your husband is supportive and that is a wonderful thing. Please keep us posted as you continue to heal.

Drain is out!!! But man did that hurt like a mother! I think it was as bad as when I had a brazilian wax. The doc felt bad he said I could punch if i wanted to (which did not happen). Feeling great so far. Just getting tired if I'm doing too much but overall things are good. My incisions look great I thought I was going to look the like bride of Frankenstein but I don't (thank God). I can finally shower today which is going to be the highlight of my week. Doc has allowed me to remove my garments for 2hrs a day and I do feel like I swell up a bit but nothing crazy. I just can't wait for my tummy to look flat so far it looks like I've inhaled a whole thanksgiving turkey and a 12 pack of beer. Pain hasn't been bad at all, I don't have a high pain tolerance I think I've just been lucky. Looking forward to my progress next week. Next week I have another appt with my doc and he will apply some more new tape and show me out to massage the girls. Unfortunately hubby can't participate until I'm 6 weeks post op. Can't believe I actually went through with this. Thanks god for the family and friends who have supported me this week, couldn't have done it without them. Still don't have my appetite back. Just been eating Protien smoothies, oatmeal and greek yogurt with granola. Chia seeds has also done wonders for my digestive system!

Feeling good!

5 days post op and I'm living the results so far. I just can't wait for my tummy swelling to go down. Boobs look great, the look on my husband's face whenever I'm topless is priceless!!!! Tummy feels numb which is pretty weird and the spot where they took the drain out is a little sore. Took a shower for the first time this morning but it took a lot out of me. Standing up a litter straighter but still not all the way straight. The mark under my arm is from the garment bra rubbing on my skin the first couple of days.
