Hi all! I just wanted to share with you my story...
Hi all! I just wanted to share with you my story about using a derma roller on a raised scar! About around March of 2015, I had an accident with the side of a keyboard pullout. It left me with a deep gash on the bridge of my nose. I was too poor at the time to see a doctor and unfortunately it became a huge embarrassment for me. It was so swollen and raised. I would cry and cry over it. Until I found out what a derma roller is. Frequently, they advised to not use a derma roller on any raised scars. I don't know how it would turn out on anybody else, but it actually helped in my case. I derma rolled throughout the course of three months, derma rolling about twice each month. The derma roller I use was a wide 1.5 mm. In conjunction with that, I used rose hip oil, as it is high in omega fatty acids and vitamin c and e. My results were pretty satisfactory. You might not be able to tell within the pictures because it wasn't that prominent with the side profile. I might continue to use it again to permanantly get rid of the scarring for good.
