I had a VSG in 2015 and it was a very successful surgery. I had high hopes that it would help me keep my weight in check and divert my chances of getting diabetes ( i was already prediabetic) I had the surgery at Swedish Weight Loss in the hospital. The whole staff and process was seamless and amazing. However, after initially losing 55 lbs i slowly have gained back 20 lbs. It has been a very rough ride for me and I think I personally wasn't fully ready to make the physical lifestyle changes necessary to keep the weight off. I think the surgery really scared me and I kept up the food changes but I couldn't do any of the physcial changes. I am currently trying to get back into my nutrition routine and exercise routine. Feel free to message me if you have any questions about the process of VSG.

I totally forgot my doctor's name but he and his staff at Swedish were amazing and attentive. I think I needed more attention with aftercare but I never asked for it. I need to jump start my weight loss.
