Hi Lolafin!! Great to hear from you! It's strange how hard it is to accept change - Took me quite a while to get adjusted to my eyes as well. At first they seem smaller and not as pretty to me even after the swelling went down. They seemed a different shape and not as pretty. So I think some of it motional adjustment getting used to the change, we get used to our bodies and that is what to our brains what looks normal, and different, even better , just looks strange for a while. Does that make sense to you too? So as far as my boobs go I think it was a combination of physical and emotional - they did settle into their size as well as feeling like a part of me versus tight and painful. But it was just as big of an emotional adjustment looking at the new me. I think it took looking at myself in clothes and loving that before I could see them naked and love them. After I loved the look in clothes I started to adjust my mind to how big they were naked. First I sort of objectively liked their beauty - thinking that they are still too big but really are beautiful. Then it just sort of flowed into loving them on me. Kind of difficult to put all of that into words, but I think it makes sense!? I looked at your picture from December again - I think you are fairly close to me in both before and after. I'm using the scar sheets, but occasionally I alternate that with the bio corneum. On my eyes I just use the bio corneum. What are you using?

Thanks for the reply. Scar treatement: only BioCorneum currently. I thnk I am going to get some of the strips ordered tonight. I was getting mixed advice from my doctor and his assitant which was better. Is some ways I am impressed with how well tehy are doing but in some ways ready for them to be more fully healed. Impatient!! Healing: I still am getting some swelling. I am realeased from wearing the sports bra at night. But sometiems I wake up and put it back on. I can feel the swelling it is a bit uncomfortable. It keeps getting better and I am sure that will pass with time. emotionallly I have been up and down. I feel tehy are one size bigger than I would like them to be. No changing that now without dramtaic efforts!! I love the shape and look. They just sometimes look so big!!!! I am not cleared for real bra's yet. I know that we can control the size a bit with bra's. I hae a professional job and don't want to look like a show girl! I SO love not being saggy any more!!! So as you can read, i am still emotioanlly settling into my new boobs. It is also winter in Chiago. Lots of sweaters and sweat shirts. No real opportunity to show them off if I chose to! thanks for listening. Yes, our pics and our stories are similiar. It has been an interesting journey! Hugs! Lola

I know exactly where you're coming from Lola! Until probably two weeks ago I felt like I was a size too big - and even now if you ask me for the size or one down I would probably go one down. Mostly because I'm worried about them sagging again in 10 years - especially if I go running etc. But as far as how they look I have come to love them - versus looking at them and thinking "too big" as you are doing now. I'm a professional girl as well and was a little concerned about that - for a while I thought I couldn't even get into my business suit jackets anymore. But With being able to wear regular bras and the swelling gone down I feel fine - I don't feel too big at work anymore. I think you'll get there with less swelling and some time! You look fabulous!!

Thanks for the support. Yes, getting into real bras will help. As we know, bra's can really change how your book. I suspect I will get tamer ones for work and more show off style for home life. I run too! I am going to have to get some really great sports bra's to hold the girls in place. I swear we have so much in common. Nice having a tata sister on the west coast! Hugs Kim

It is Kim! I used to live in Moline when growing up, and my aunt and uncle lived in Chicago (he played for Bears - yay !). I visited them a lot and still have a cousin there I hope to visit one of there days! If I do we'll have to have drinks!! I just got a new VS bra last night - had still been walking around in my sports bras because I didn't like the new one I bought. Loving this new one! I hope you settle into yours and are able to have new bras soon. I asked my doc about running and sagging and he said I'd be fine with a good sports bra. I'm headed to Florida tomorrow - but won't be warm enough in the panhandle to show them off :( hugs!! Sheila

Hi Kim! I'll test out your email soon so I know I have it right. Yes I'm in Florida and it's sunny and 66° - nowhere near as nice as Jamaica!! I'm jealous! My uncle was a fairly new minor player in the 70s - David Hale. But he played with Gale Sayers and some of those others - very cool!!

Also need to tell you that one of my best friends lives here in Florida and I figured she would for sure be able to tell about my surgery - didn't tell her and I wondered whether she would figure it out. She didn't and I'm amazed!! Of course it's not bikini weather but it still surprising - and cool :)

Our men are so cute! Even still swollen, yellow and taped my guy is loving the new additions! Can you imagine the reaction when they are all healed?!? Good stuff!
