My breasts became "mismatched" when I was in college. During the past 5-10 years, one stayed a B cup while the other grew to a D. This past fall, the right grew to a DD while the other stayed a B. I was horrifically insecure - not just about my appearance, but about my life. I wore oversized sweaters & thought everyone noticed my "Frankenboob." I thought everyone then noticed that I was overweight & criticized my parenting.

I finally decided to do something about it. As soon as I walked into Dr. Salemy's office, I knew I picked the right place. Everyone was caring & thorough. Dr. Salemy proposed an implant for my left breast & a lift, as well as a reduction for my right breast & a lift.

There were some complications with my surgery (see below) but everything came out phenomenal. My breasts are perfect!!! No more sweaters. A lot less insecurity. Teenagers open doors for me. The snarky girls at my college reunion were snarky about how I was wearing a maxi dress with NO BRA. AT AGE 41!!!!! I was at a party and someone asked me my age - she said that based on my boobs, she thought I was in my early 30s. I really cannot emphasize how amazingly beautiful my breasts are. Two decades of insecurity erased in a 4 hour operation by an incredibly skillful surgeon.

oh- and the recovery wasn't that bad either.

Hahaha@ the snarky girls!! Good for you!! I think you deserve to feel beautiful!! Can you please post some bf and after pix? It really helps people in the same situation you were in , to research and maybe give them sort of an idea of how there surgery cld come out. I have a friend she has a saggy C and a nice B and she thinks she is the only one in the work with two diff size boobs. I haven't told her about RS yet bc she hasn't started researching yet. Maybe your pix cld help her out;•}

I was so mortified with my before pics I deleated them too. I'm 3 days shy of being two months post op. I'm spitting a few stitches currently. Otherwise healing nicely. The scar on my right is almost twice as long as the one on the right. Plus my bigger breast dropped some and left has not budged. So again I feel lopsided. But I know it will get better in time. I think I tend to be more critical than others.

I had two cup size difference, I live up north of you in Anacortes. I couldn't afford the surgery here in Washington. I got the same price quote. I read the reduction, lift and augmentation is the most complicated breast surgery. And it sounds like way more complicated in your case. I hope your healing is going well. I know how it feels to be self conscious about your body. I've read good things about your doctor. Happy healing !!

I feel like it was more of a 'reconstruction' than an augmentation, but that wouldn't be fair to breast cancer survivors. Did you already have yours done? I had to wait for sort-of "pre inheritance" before I could afford it. I feel like I'm totally healed - just working on eliminating those scars.

I used a small inheritance from my dad passing away. He loved big boobs. Not that I wanted big boobs. I just symmetrical, perky with some fullness on top, instead of it all hiding in my armpits when I would lay down.

Just remember, no one's boobs are perfect. That's why models don't have them.
