Thank Dr Sowder every day!

So 4 years later, a little weight yo-yo but they are still as absolutely beautiful today as they were the first day. I thank Dr Sowder every time I put on a T-shirt and I don’t have to wear a monster sports bra, or spaghetti strap Summer dress with just a slip, it’s absolute freedom.
The only question Dr Sowder, is do you do facelifts? I’m ready for another west coast trip.....

the happiest girl in the world!

sorry for not posting sooner, but its been 5 months and I couldn't be happier!
first of all my neck doesn't hurt at all anymore, Yeay!!! Secondly I cant believe how much weight I was lugging around on my chest. Every minute of the day I am reminded that I don't have an extra 4lb hanging off my chest that constantly got in the way.
Very, very happy camper here, talk about feeling free!
And to add to the light feeling my boobies look amazing! In clothes and out.
Any one considering doing this don't waste another minute, do it! But make sure you do your research.
If you can go to Dr Sowder in Seattle, if you cant make it there find a competent certified plastic surgeon, but the travel to Seattle from NYC was absolutely worth it,
Just get on the plane and go to her, she is an artist as well as an amazing person.
feel free to ask me any questions about my procedure with Dr. Sowder
I also had some lipo done on my inner knee area, will post pics after I get my but back in the gym for a while, LOL

This is the beginning of an amazing journey to...

This is the beginning of an amazing journey to finding piece and relief in my own skin. I have always had issues with my breasts, When I was a dancer (ballet) having a B-C cup was huge and very uncomfortable which led me to developing an entire line of support wear for dancers to give them an aesthetically pleasing look and reduce the amount of bouncing while jumping in skimpy leotards and other costumes.
The Angelic Support bra and undergarments became the staple if not mandatory for most professional dancers and young girls who overnight developed boobs.
It made my heart soar every time I would get a letter of thanks from mothers who saw their daughters self image improve and actually helped a lot of people get jobs even with very large breast.
About my breasts....... after being diagnosed with Lyme and being on a regiment of extremely heavy medications I reached 195lb. Not the right weight for someone with a small frame and only 5.7".
When the Lyme went into remission I stopped the meds and began loosing weight. I finally reached my basic weight of 135- 140lbs but was left with extremely droopy D+ boobs.
I was and still am in physical HeLL!
With my husbands support and encouragement we decided the only route to go is to get a reduction and lift. I am a very active and young looking/feeling/acting 50 year old and having huge matronly boobs is not an option!
The hunt for the best surgeon began. With the help of all the people on this wonderful group and hunting on line we discovered Dr Sowder who has a reputation that is above par in everything that she does.
We got in touch with her and have been having the most informative and caring conversations. the before and after pictures and her patients glowing reviews are fantastic. We decided that she is the One and only that I trust to take a knife to my girls. The appointment is set for the day before Thanksgiving, I am literally giddy with excitement!!!
To finally be a perky B cup, no more super support sports bras, or cuddling with the hubby and screaming that your elbow is on my boob because it slipped into my arm pit, LOL to finally wear clothing that is my size without trying to cover the huge cleavage, or side boob.
I know its a serious procedure and there will be some pain and discomfort but its a small price to pay to be her piece of art and finally find relief and piece in my skin.
To be continued!
Ps; I am also thinking of doing lipo on my inner knees. Something that no matter how hard I exercise or how thin I get its still there.
