6 months after surgery

6 months after surgery :)

Here are some photos that are all fairly recent!

Always being relatively flat-chested, my breasts...

Always being relatively flat-chested, my breasts completely deflated after weight loss and even after putting weight back on, I could barely fit into an A cup. I was so unhappy with how I looked without a bra on and didn't feel feminine. I was very hesitant to get breast augmentation, and it wasn't until after I met with Dr. Peters that I realized it was the right choice for me. Dr.Peters made me feel so comfortable and also made sure I had a clear and concise vision for how I wanted the results to look. I was extremely nervous for the procedure, and the pain that would follow during recovery. Of course recovery is not comfortable, but it wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be. I was fine to leave the house and go back to everyday life within a week. Also, I was nervous that it would take months before my breasts looked nice/ normal after the surgery, but I thought they looked great just a week or two after! If I had to do the procedure all over again I would in a second. I'm glad I went with a smaller size (265 cc) silicone, than I initially was going to. I also went with medium profile instead of high profile which I also think was a better decision. It's a mistake to try to choose your implant size based on what bra cup size you want, go with your gut instinct when you try the sizers on at the doctor in the sports bra they give you. Also keep in mind how they'll look in push up bras, low cut tops, ect. - Overall I am so happy with my results and the entire process, again I can't stress enough that it is not nearly as scary as it seems!

Dr. Peters is an amazing surgeon who made sure I was comfortable but most importantly she made me feel like this surgery wasn't nearly as scary or intense as I was chalking it up to be. Her calmness the day of the surgery put me at ease. The nurse who took care of me when I woke up from the surgery was also incredible and did everything she could to make me comfortable. What made me realize that Dr.Peters' was the surgeon for me was 1. her past patients all looked amazing and had results I knew I would be very happy with and 2. she never tried to change my mind about a size or profile, she'd only give her opinion when I'd practically beg her for it, and she always maintained that the only thing that truly mattered was my opinion, not hers or anyone else's. This definitely encouraged me to make sure that I was 100% confident that I was choosing the size and style that I wanted. I know other young women whose doctors pushed them to go bigger and they were unhappy with the results in the end. Dr. Peters is very experienced and her work speaks for itself. An amazing surgeon, you won't be disappointed!
